Oh, I hadn't thought of 'The Music Man' in years!! I remember Robert Preston in the movie, and wished I could have heard him sing this Meredith Willson song on stage, too. I know the Beatles rearranged it a bit, but the original is just awesome.
Grammy Preston was the quintessential in George Martin (sir). The Beatles before the last three years in the studio were noted for doing most all their songs within one take - go figure.
