All around Canada it's been there is a sense and as well a feeling that go from the Atlantic to the Pacific. He was much more than a politician - he was a very good man. A man that had done good deeds for those prior to the election here in Canada. Leave out the politics please as this was a man which before his cancer and after it took him certainly did more good than otherwise. I hear America speak so much about there own people. Well wake up as there are other nations not just yours. Jack Layton was a man which aided people. Most of all he was a humanitarian.

Why in some manner do I see America as being a insecure...it baffles me. As this was a man much like a Jimmy Carter but within a Canadian manner....my he rest in peace.
Before I had trouble with my server I had wrote my own dedication to the man.
Now there is a certainy that many Americans opt not to look at Canada. America has internalized and in a very wierd way in these time has an insecurity complex with Canadian history and or the likes of it....frankly I don't care for those that use this term called "LABLES".

ReplyDeleteFor what its worth this was a very honourable man he did more that even I didnt realize and if a Canadian is shuned by those in America....we do have a problem.
ReplyDeleteLiving in a riding that was next to his I often would joke because we liked him so much that we might move to his riding.
ReplyDeleteFinally this last election our riding became orange and for once we felt we had someone fighting for our ideals. Mr. Layton did an amazing job of uniting people and giving them hope where before there wasn't. And he did this from his death bed.
He is truly a loving and beautiful person and a top notch politician too.
Orange just so happens to be a colour that looks good on me. I feel that has special meaning and I will miss Jack very much.
Just as if he was a member of my own family.
He was Erika I am amazed at all the flags across the country went down. He was a man that did do as you say.

as online pertaining to Mr. Layton.
