INXS - STAIRS

Currently back on tour but as one of my favorite bands which within music as well as lyrical content they I found them to be very profound.  Stairs and several other songs have been some of my favorites even now within this day and age.  Stairs is one of many of the songs of which the lyrical content combined with the music was instrumental in what was enjoyed then and still to this day for myself. Pending how time goes I would like to do a few things within here with regards to music.

We shall see...

STAIRS

In a room above busy street

There are the echoes of life

The fragments and the accidents

Separated by incidents

Listened to by the walls

We share the same spaces

Repeated in the corridors

Performing the same movements

Story to story Building to building

Street to streets we pass each other

Storey to storey Building to building

Street to streets we pass each other

Listened to by the walls

We share the same spaces

Repeated in the corridors

Performing the same movements

The nature of tragedy is chained around your neck

Do you lead or are you led

Does it matter if you care

There are reasons here to give your life

And follow in your way

The passion lives to keep your faith

Though all are different all are great

Climbing as we fall and winning when we climb

We dare to hold on to our fate

As it fosters our own destiny

So often captured within our own grace

Storey to storey Building to buildings

Street to streets we pass each other on the stairs

Listen to those walls

We share the same spaces

Repeated in the corridors

Performing the same movements

We do pass each other

Within a manner along our own stairs

Climbing as we fall

We dare to hold on to our fate

And steal away our destiny

To catch ourselves with our silent grace

Storey to storey building to buildings

Street to streets we pass each other

Listen to by the walls

We share the same spaces

Repeated in the corridors

Performing the same movements

Storey to storey building to building

Street to streets we pass each other

Along these stairs

  3. I was going to write on the band as they have a new site and it's amazing to see that especially three Ferris brothers have
still kept this band going. They were a band which was not the beatles many have called them somewhere within the mix of U2
and the Doors but within my day literally this is one band that I have always remained listening too and I do enjoy the site
which they have. I will never forget the first time I saw them as I had never seen a band that could literally have such great sound
and then as well the lyrics were that which for myself I just truly love it. Certainly "Hutch" the lead singer is gone but for me now
and then there is a band which I don't forget in lack the appropriate words I just dig them - then and now.

  4. There is not one person which does not live without some
sort of sound. Ironically I have enjoyed and as well you know that I am a musician - but not as these were. For myself it's merely a hobby. There are two songs which have already been within preparation and althought the first lead singer fell into that situation like many we see now.
There were three brothers which truly lead the band. Much like the drummer of U2 runs the band which most would think that Bono is the one whom does. But it's all within the sound. As you are what you need < that there is part and parcel of some of the tremendous words blended by this one band now and then.

  5. Never Tear us Apart' is one song that would never never be erased nor be deleted on my music compilations it was so greatly wonderfully written. Yep, it was a soul song that speaks so lovingly, Jack. heck ... am 16 year-old again! laughs*
    Never Change is just wonderful.
