Yesterday was one of a kind and I must admit my legs are paying the price for it. As I had mentioned my father had this replacement of his stints which go to his kidneys. I went for a good long stroll and then got the word that he was done and finished. So thereafter I went and picked him up and took him home and then there was this tribute which I had not known. I must have missed it in the paper but I placed all to a halt and along with this photographer which works for the paper here – we hit it off. The two cameras which he had were amazing to me and he was curious as he could see that I was taking pictures by way of angles it’s the manner which I have always done it and I never had a day like yesterday yet ironically my legs cramp up on me. Right within the knee joints.
Aside of all that there have been more things which have taken place this week in a good manner which as well came to be when I arrived home on Friday. Now there is something to be said for enjoying things as there still are some pictures of a visit to the university here which I have yet to place on.
But I can honestly say that yesterday was the busiest day and with regards to my father it’s been a procedure which I take him in for each six months. Yes age it does catch up with you but ironically I have a small surgery which may take places as well as my doc found that I do need this injection between my knees – I guess he had opened up my file. As I had this done five years ago.
As well I have a meeting with the mayor here in town next week and well things just keep on moving along. Yet today I headed out to the riverside for a morning jog and the people you run into still does amaze me.
So there are those full days and then there are those real full days. Yet what I do know is that it’s not winter yet and that is just fine with me. Eventful things are great just as long as they all have their own manner of cadence as I don’t three hands – I merely have two.
I am not sure about you but not till the eve do I realize all that has been done. Even if you were put together wish spare parts.
They just need to be oiled now and then.

ReplyDeleteNo worries as it's been a good full day Caroline but yesterday was real full :)
ReplyDeleteI hope the knees feel better. I know that pain and I don't envy you.
ReplyDeleteIt's the change of weather as well but most often I just think beyond it Sharon and I don't sit for prolonged periods.
ReplyDeleteYet I was surprised that my former doc - she never forwarded my entire file. Yet I don't have any problems till the cooler eves come.
Sitting for any length of time makes my knees stiff
ReplyDeleteDitto here I go outside and strech and come back...
ReplyDeleteI sometimes get up and do dance stretches.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the knees. For me it is my lower back...good to stretch our bodies to remind it to work properly.
ReplyDeleteIf need be it's a movie time...but I think it's just the climate but so be it.
ReplyDeleteMy air conditioner blew a fuse today, but we didn't know what was wrong with it until evening. The house was twice as hot inside as outside. I have finally cooled down, but I think I have a little exhaustion (not to mention some pretty draining emotions)
ReplyDeleteOld man time sometimes isn't a very kind. A few years ago my knees were bothering me. My doctor had me taking omega 3's (fish oil) to help reduce my cholesterol. Low and behold it fixed my knees. My knees remind me if I skip a dose. Might give the oil a try....
ReplyDeletetight hugs
ReplyDeleteI can relate with the temps Katherine as we went from nearing autumn and it's back up at 85f. Yet the house here keeps cool but when I arrive home I will open all the windows to let the air come in. I do know what you mean pertaining to those things which can emotionally drain a person. I know for myself what does and what doesnt. But hugs go from here to you there - big time.......grande si!
ReplyDeleteYeah Wendy I am on Vitamin D combined with Calcium Magnisium and coupled with exercise as stretching it works.....yet there is no doubt that
ReplyDeleteI have to have this injection but for the meantime I am doing good. I have in the winters truly lived mostly on fish and these omega 3s...
BTW - salmon is my favorite fish....yet I can do without cod liver oil. :)
Pink salmon is my fave
ReplyDeleteHello and a good eve it's and yeah salmon and now and then a nice sardine sandwich. :)
