It's a new year I think that most of all we will find that we all have the things that we have set out to do. I don't think all that much when it come to resolutions as mentioned I have already made them. So it's the first day within 2011. Each of us have our own feelings about it and I do have as well.
My goals are with what I have always abide by. It has never changed, yet it had changed with back in November but that is yesterday. What I do know is that I am myself. I'm not more than one person and I enjoy everything as I just arrived in a while ago and this day is like most any day. What I or you do is what we find that makes the world go around.
So within this new year I really don't see a change as far as the time frame I see more within what is and what substance. I have made mention of some goals that I do have and as well I came out and indicated something that I do have but who does not have something? So here as the realm of the world goes. I like each and everyone of you have my own areas in which I enjoy, my own areas in which I do love to write on. And I do enjoy the collaboration with respect to each of those that I have come to know.
While I was doing shopping the other day there was a magazine which featured, "What are your resolutions for the year?" I think we all do have them. However I find that there is not really a need for a resolution. I suppose it's comes from somewhere this term of resolutions. However I believe in the art of just making things happen within respect to faith and otherwise.
If I was pinpointed to think about one resolutions - it would be more of a request. Which would be, "Gaining an understanding". As that might fitting for this new year.
Hence I will used my old term of - "Why Not".
I don't make New Year's resolutions myself per se. Everyday of the year is another chance to reach my goals. I find if I just keep plugging away, they eventually get accomplished. I work on the fiscal year of resolutions one might say - lol.

ReplyDeleteSo that all said - Happy 2011 to you all the same :)
ReplyDeleteI like what you said in the audio. I don't celebrate New Years Day, it's fine with me for the people who do.
ReplyDeleteWe 'evolve' as you said. Every day is an opportunity for retrospection, for working toward goals, and to face the unpredictable~~as life always goes.
Happy 2011, Jack, whatever that really means. :)
I do mean it as we so often do think of so many things we are going to do but really within it all Sig we are really it's another day and within 2011 I find that working towards goals and facing that which might be unpedictable is a challenge it's an effort but it's one of worth. Cheers to you Sig. And Happy 2011.
ReplyDeleteI will do everything the same this year as i did last year...I say why fix whats not broken,,,:)

ReplyDeleteJulie, I won't do everything the same. Just wondering, how can we always be the same when things change all the time? As I said, just wondering~~

ReplyDeleteHey, thanks Jack. Seemed like we were on the same page. By the way, you have a great voice.
ReplyDeleteWell said Jack. We as humans should resolve to do a little better each day I think.
ReplyDeleteI just got home and to settle in and just write - there is this thing of keeping things within a
ReplyDeletemode of honesty Sig and this morning I embark on my first day within the gyum. I was cut
off last night as the power went as we had a snow storm but within the area of change. I
really can understand what you mean and say and when I come to this blog. I literally have
wrote so much that one wishes to write with something new and not be repetitive. As what goes
on within the day. We all have thoughts - when I sit down here at first I really don't know what my
writing is going to be. I look at all the things that are happening within the world by way of emails and
I can say there are somethings that are great and then there are somethings that it's really not
of worth to write about. Sig, it's all cool and I do look forward to your writes. As one would almost think
that we are both the same person however that definately isnt the case. Yet we do have very common
grounds on what how we think.
Doug as you know - I had a mishap that I had that choice of either climbing or not. While within the hospital during that time I had many things that I thought on. I didn't have any relatives nor relations nor family that came to see me. Within that one month there was much that I was humbled, then I did think about many things and there were some things that were told to me - which didn't go over well. One was that I might not have full cognitive value. As I had a near TIA.....but I am not sure when your on but it all lead into something GREAT. As of today, I have done my share of walking as well as I still will be making visits with this medical team - but I have my next goal which is within the gym. So have I made a new years resolution - no. I made my goals that shall be complete and while I am doing it within this week. I am looking to outsource three hours a day. More than likely it will either be within this one gym, or it shall be within the hospital. If each person took one thing and just looked to improve it and not be something other than what they are - I truly feel they are working at there optimum.
ReplyDeleteI had a blog back in the days of Y360 which the front had this Title called, " Why Not ". Seemingly it's still applicable to this very day.
I have never made a resolution .... I just endeavour to do the best that I can .... but that is a daily thing rather than an annual thing .... ~grin~
ReplyDeleteDitto back there to ya Lynne.
ReplyDeletehappy new year jack!
ReplyDeleteAnd the very same to you...just getting in here.
ReplyDeletetried to reach you back but could not....hence there is something I am missing here. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have much common ground, Jack, but of course we aren't the same person! That would make one of us a clone. (:~)}
ReplyDeleteI don't think there's anything not worthy of a write. It doesn't have to be great, big.
What we think about, how we perceive things little or big, makes us who we are.
