Resolutions without Absolutes....

It really does make for the best within the next 365 days in which encompass 2011.  Forget about those New Year’s resolutions if not already. From which we all make that benchmark of what we are going to do within the first day of the New Year.

I find that in how you will be conducting my life and my efforts within now and within some six months later. And hear is why ---any resolution that involves you making decisions about any given long range plan more than often leaves one within a self defeatist upcoming behavior. One day at a time without the thought of thinking much within the day is without any absolutes. The main question that I have asked myself and have spoken with many is, “What are we going to use and utilize within the next 360 days of the year”. Will I waste time on how I used to behave, what I used to think, there are a host of thoughts that go along with this thing in which we call resolutions. I would rather resolve and live each day to the fullest. That doesn’t take New Years to make it happen it only takes my very own self. Really for me it’s not much more nor less.

Each and every one of us has our own natural manner in which we are online, the manner that we live our lives as well as what we desire. For the most part some people get it and some don’t. It’s so easy to give up a goal or a resolution – but especially the resolve within a resolution. As we each do have characteristic flaws within our personalities. I do, you do – we all do as it’s all within the nature of mankind. What I come to ask myself at the end of a time frame is what have I done. It's really just as simple as that. It’s without an absolute nor a resolution - here I go again - it's all within a flow. One often gives resolutions due to the mindset that there is a notion to live life within “stretches”. However when it really comes down to it it’s a simply life dynamic of carrying on with goals and living within the moment. How do I wish to conduct my life? Certainly there are areas that I have an intended in making changes yet it’s something that is all within the sphere – or within the dynamics of life. Challenges still are challenges. Goals are still goals. The manner in which we conduct our lives – it hasn’t changed – yet we can certainly rearrange it.

Within this year the good things in life coupled with those things in life that do take place for me as like everyone else – I just live it.  And within all of that I seize the moment not for any reason than just within embarking within life.

That is what I render golden within the New Year, as it’s really all encompassed. There really not any difference within one day yet there is an ever changing dynamic that we all do live within.  It's all within how we think and each person is different but the best think I see is that it's all just in being whom you are. It need not matter where you come from, it need not matter where you were born. All that matters is all within that unconditional  "YOU".

~ Yeah ~

  1. I'm with you on everything you wrote. This really says it all:

"--any resolution that involves you making decisions about any given long range plan more than often leaves one within a self defeatist upcoming behavior."

Life is never predictable. Neither are we, because if we're aware, (and introspective like you), we get new insights all of the time. We change our minds.

There is no such thing as an "absolute." I'm glad there isn't!

  2. There are no predictables and Sig, I literally enjoy the reading more now that before. We all change with a manner and a way. This perhaps is an outlet a voice that we render to make a change. Times shall change, things will change but there are no absolutes within life there are the areas in which we aspire and within our own outlet - we all do have a manner of saying our says. It's really the manner that I do see it. There are things that happen now and then there are things that will happen tomorrow - keeping up with it all is absolute but what I find is right now just reading is rather nice - nothing more nor anything less.

I am glad that there are no absolutes as it leaves in all streams of life a flow - a render - a thought and to each their very own.

  3. you are right on so many level Jack and yet so many of us do search meaningless ways to pass the time with projected plans that sometimes work or don't work, like you I tend to live each day as it arrives where ever possible sometimes we can't avoid certain other worldly problems that change the coarse of our day but it's no reason to rule off the day completely :-))))

  5. Hi Ken I just got one here and there is always a means but there are no absolutes. I enjoy things which are without something rigid when I write on here. What I think your saying Ken is that you are within a frequency that cultivates. There are areas within our neighborhoods, communities, countries and to think that all can be achieved would be rather hard. It's that old fable yet motivational story called the, " The Tortoise and the Hare ". We can't avoid but we can take risks as either one does or if not they better plan on a very lifeless - life. Anne Frank, there are so many books that I have read while I was in my 20s and 30's one of my favorites which it's truly hard to pic a fav is - Viktor Frankl's 1946 book Man's Search for Meaning was one of my first reads while I was stationed in a remote area. I am not sure if Frankl is still alive but the read was something that truly gave way to a understanding as he titled his book, " The Meaning of Life". It's most captivating - so that one is up there on the bookshelf.

  6. Gary we are... I find that the neatest thing within the technology is the ability to converse within ideals.
We are either our best friend or our worst enemy - and some never do take that time to
render all that is - rather than what is not.

  7. ebb and flow---enjoy even the turns and the bumps--hold on to the emotions of each moment for they can never be denied nor disputed---

  8. .....................allow emotions, as within that moment for what ever it may be one does not want to miss out on it, and no things are not denied nor disputed. This finger does not point at a person the finger points with a direction as we all just are.

  9. Hello, thank you for stopping by and saying hello. It's funny you mention Frankl in your comment, this quote from him was in a book I was just reading: (not Frankl's book)

“For the meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour… To put the question in general terms would be comparable to the question posed to a chess champion, “Tell me, Master, what is the best move in the world?” There simply is no such thing as the best or even a good move apart from a particular situation in a game…One should not search for an abstract meaning of life.”

As far as the absolutes, I agree that there aren't any. Someone suggested "cruelty is wrong" could be one, but I don't know. Anyway, interesting topics!

  10. It all comes down within that area of enjoying and after a full day just being YOU. There is no need for cruelty or otherwise within what we read and what we write hence the reference with Victor. He was pinnacle within what makes man thrive from the days of that he lived through the holocost. It brought about an area in which he gained more of an understanding of PURPOSE.

  11. I realize that every day is a new day but still for me there is something special about the begining of a New Year.I've made resolutions this Year and it feels Right. I've been realistic and I believe that I can attain the goals. Whatever happens it's a win , win situation. I'm moving forward. It's a positive way to start for me and there is something about the spoken word either to myself but especially when I share them with a few close friends or family. It's the feeling of perhaps accountability, having someone who can help cheer you on through the rough spots. We're all different but to me it is a positive experience. In a way it's kind of like joining a gym. I have all kinds of exercise equipment at home but making the commitment and investing into a membership keeps me on task and I make progress. There are other ways to invest besides putting money into a gym though I just use that as an example .
It doesn't have to be January or a special day though to determine to do something . It can be a day or an hour even if that makes sense. 2010 has had joys and sorrows but mostly I'm thankful for the simple blessings of my family and friends and the fact that I have done things I never dreamed I would and there has been growth.
To me New Years resolution is a good thing. :)

  12. Cheryl, I can comprehend how, to some, the ritual of a new year resolution could add a spark, a moment of enterprise and energy. I also believe it's a good thing to have a positive attitude about our goals.
My only point would be that because of changes in our world, and ourselves, we need to be prepared for twists and turns in the journey, or we'll be very disappointed.
Also, I might say~that if I'm focused on point A to point C, I could miss a lot on the way.
    I like this, Jack:
"Within this year the good things in life coupled with those things in life that do take place for me as like everyone else – I just live it. And within all of that I seize the moment not for any reason than just within embarking within life."
I've extensively studied many things, been active in some of them. But 'somehow' I've turned into a wanderer of the world. Places, (archeology), people, (anthropology), always fascinated by astronomy. I'm comfortable where I am now, but I know that one little incident, an image, a word, could motivate me to make a turn in the road. Life is exciting in its unpredictability. Heck. No changes yet but remembering to write 2011 on a cheque.
I wish you a wonderful every day, but they won't all be. Take 'em as they come. We really haven't any other choice but to fight what we can't control anyway.

  13. There are many things people consider "bad." How could we possibly ever know the "good" that came of them? Just sayin'.

    Very well said.

  15. Yes it's true , life does have twists and turns some could be devastating and take a great deal of faith and determination and a resolution of another sort to learn the new path. Like when my son's friend was badly injured in a car accident right before his 18th birthday, His dream was to be in the armed forces but fate and a brief cell phone message his girlfriend was responding to changed things. This is an extreme example maybe but then another chance to get the word out in honor of Wil who is speaking out on the dangers of texting and driving. He isn't fulfilling his goal of serving his country in the same sense yet he is serving and making a difference. He is able to walk and talk although he doesn't sound quite the same as before..and he is educating people and in so doing hopefully saving some lives.
So YES there are things that may alter our goals and plans

  16. To each there own. It was a nice occassion and I guess from my reading of the night before I was thinking of each person has a life in which they are livinig outside of blogville. And within that I thought I would hit on the topic Good things are good and this is where that "to each their own" is with regards to respect. The other night I was reading one write from Deb in Kentucky and it really was a thoughtful write which she had done.

You took that job for a good reason - and that reason belongs to you Cheryl.

  20. I stopped making resolutions for a new year ages ago. Each day is a new beginning, and each day can have a new resolution. It doesn't really matter where one begins in terms of a calendar date...it's the beginning that is important.

    ReplyDelete
  21. The same applies here. I find that there is again a ideal that comes of the likes of many one of my favorites within things has never been anyone with exception of the day - a day within simplicity. I had another testing of things and I don't think much on it I just literally forget about the number and the date and often I will go without any agenda other that what I do. And within the doing we all come to be something that immerses within worth as many I see are - I just arrived in and I work on a two week agenda and I leave the weekends completely open. Hence flexibility....
