Within the morning I headed to one place that I have been
too a few times. I was stopping in here at this place called the
Souleio Restaurant located right down town and as it was cold we
dropped in for a coffee and thereafter went about doing our own thing.
Me and a friend of mine and this is a very artsy yet neat restaurant and
primarily breakfast restaurant in which one would think exists right
within an area called Tribecca in NYC.
It was nice to see the place and all as well as the staff. Very diverse
if I may say and a very nice excursion for a morning within the weekend.
This is really cool he took time out to talk. What about the food. You appeared to be in the kitchen....whats going on the plates?
ReplyDeleteThe staff within the kitchen were preparing all kinds of desserts. And yeah I headed down into the kitchen - neat place as it is one of several that are making up the landscape of things within this city.
ReplyDeleteA very fine interview Jack. And I presumed it is a big breakfast-grocery and a bistro [which means anyone can sing karaoke style] cum restaurant as i heard from the interview.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's rather large I would estimate that the entire area is 2,000 sq. ft. - I don't think they have karoke :)
ReplyDeletethis is very interesting Jack. thank you for posting the video. it is nice to see a little bit more of your area and life each time you photograph or video places for us to see. I've got a troll staying at my house for a while he is visiting with me and will be going to Canada after his visit here. I have taken some pics of my area, stop by if you like. a friend of mine down in Georgia sent out his troll doll and he is going all over the world eventually and each one of us that he visits, well we are taking pictures of him and creating a little story line. lol
ReplyDeleteYeah and it's fun and I find that there really is not all that much difference Sue with the exception that it does get cold here and what was yesterday certainly is not tonight. But within the weekend it's is fun and it's enjoyable to see other people's areas and so forth. As time allows I shall as I went out and came back and right now I am just thawing out! I kid you not...
ReplyDeleteyeah, it has warmed up a bit here too and the sun was out today. in the 30's and snow was melting. keep warm Jack, I've put on a sweater in my house cuz a long sleeved shirt is just not enough, I get cold very easily!
ReplyDeleteThe change of temperture is what really just bites so we shall see how this eve goes - as I may just settle in and just watch a show here. How I can relate Suzy.
ReplyDeleteVery nice of him to chat with you.
ReplyDelete.sounds a good place to visit!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the visit. A good breakfast, hot coffee or tea-just right for a cold winter day. Je vous remercie de tout cœur.
ReplyDeleteRemerciez-le de ma part.
Thanks and yes Caroline.
ReplyDeleteHaddy I am Canadian and I do speak a few languages orally but within writing - I would need a translator for this.
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy the visit - thank you.
Well been a long time on my French too--so might be very shaky
ReplyDeleteJe vous remercie de tout cœur.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Remerciez-le de ma part. Thank him for me.
Mine as well, and Haddy I do thank from my heart as wel
ReplyDeleteas there is a manner and always a way you never can please
all there are those that are what they are. We all though are
and ensemble of people that are "climbing up the stairs".
Cool that you could get the manager to talk to you.
ReplyDeleteFaye it was one of the first and I have not done this in some time but there are many that I have done in the past - but this camera - it's time for a new one and on or before the end of the week I shall have it. I have talked with many and then there are some that I have spoke with and recorded but it does take some to have a talk and there after with some I do know the owners here and with some I don't but it's fun. I have always and will always be a people person, and the weather changed to minus 35c which would be nearly the same in f...so I have went out and got groceries and got back and it will be nice when spring is much closer up here as we do have tremendous weather within spring and winter....
ReplyDeleteThis shall take you to many that I have done from one side of the country to the other and then some :)
A great day there to you Faye.

Too cool, Jack. You make a wonderful roving reporter ;)
ReplyDeleteNow show me the coffee ;)
Naw Jo, I was just having some fun there then Jo. I have to do another fix up
ReplyDeleteof this computer but that can wait for another day I literally had some
remarkable fun in some of those videos and this weekend I did it and oh
how one gets to know people - even within there own city. However
before the end of the weekend I have a new camera.
It's just plain and simple fun. I am no reporter but I do like to show
things here and it's rather neat. A great Monday eve to you.
He's traveled all over. He's in Food Service like me :) How nice of him to let you into the kitchen area. Great posting Jack. I wish him much success!
