Yesterday morning I was able to get a few pictures within the morning.
I was able to get to the top of one of the buildings on the outskirts of town and it was interesting to see have that time to capture the sunrise.
There was the mark of what is know as a Sun dog. It’s something to capture this right around this time of the year. As before we know it the days start getting longer.
awesome pictures
ReplyDeleteoh this picture is so cute
ReplyDeleteIs that a train coming way in the distance? This photo is like you're reaching for something in the past that you lost, or reaching out for hope in the future. Good black and white!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the sun awesome and almost unfathomable?! Up at the top of a building to watch the sunrise, eh? Ambitious you are :)
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Jack.
ReplyDeleteI really like this one....great shot
ReplyDelete. lovely photo..an interesting light:)
ReplyDeleteNice shot Jack.
ReplyDeleteCool b&w.
ReplyDeleteI like this one a lot.
ReplyDeleteNice shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat b&w shot. Looks like there's a train coming towards you.
ReplyDeleteThanks ---- I have been way too busy but thanks much.
ReplyDeleteThere were two and I kid you not they stopped for me and this was yesterday and I had way too many pictures so I just threw this one on as it's a neat conceptual within the morning. I love doing some within B & W...
ReplyDeleteSo is it safe to say you have a face that would stop a train? Now you know I'm kidding; it's pretty amazing that they would stop for you, I would like to see those pics if you have more of the trains, when you have time. I took several months worth of black and white back in the mid 90s, and will take them now and then for effect.
ReplyDeleteLiterally yeah as they were hitching up so I was heading to back to the highway to go dowtown and I figured I would just do a caputure..
ReplyDeleteI love the sunshine
ReplyDeleteDitto here and I could be wrong but I think the days are getting longer now. So :)
ReplyDeleteMore sunshine yeah!
ReplyDeletepretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in this. Great contrast between snowy ground and sky.
ReplyDeletecool prism in the sky!
ReplyDeleteI saw one like that recently...it was on a little puff of a cloud in the sky.
ReplyDeleteJudging from the orbs and prisms in your pictures I would say you have many angels around you at all times.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like the way the sun rays are spreading out from the sun.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing view. Just like being up on a plane. And you were certainly there at the right time of day to catch that special light.
ReplyDeleteI like the diagonal composition of this image. That's something Ive never tried with my photography.
ReplyDeleteThanks there Patrick, I did some photos the other day.
ReplyDeleteThanks jack
ReplyDeleteYour most welcome and Happy 2011!!!
