Although mine was spent at work, it was pretty great nonetheless. I'm glad your evening out brought a smile. Wishing you a peacefully beautiful weekend Jack! :)
thanks Jack, I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. we have snow on the way and I am hoping it stays light as I am off to my daughter's house tomorrow for a birthday party!
Thanks for the good wishes. It's been so cold here, there's probably been snow on the mountains all around, although they're really not high elevations! The trees across the lake have grown so tall, I can't see Mt. Diablo's peak anymore from my balcony.
Mt. Hamilton is the highest, I think, so the snow isn't just at the top & doesn't burn off during the day. The road has been closed often.
If I look at the weather report, you'll probably laugh about my saying "cold!"
Shoot, 41 degrees! But rain is predicted, & it's never really cold when there's rain. Just wish I had a fireplace...oooo...that would be cozy.
Yeah some on the very east I see as am just enjoying the TV before getting going here and from what I see Nancy the very east was hit and again today. I ponder where outside of the Artic and Antartic what country has the most snow within the season of winter.
Gary who is Gary Sig? Southern California would just be fine, I will trade you a winter coat for some scuba diving wear! As well I shall trade you a window ice scraper & divers mask for anti freeze as well as a snorkel... Peace Sig.
Lucija, so true and I did send you a private message - which I hope got to you the other day just so that you know. As I have with a few not all. But yeah the theme seems to be Snow, Leaks, and the festivities of the season.
A great day to you Luci and it's good to see you again.
Suzy you have change, I mean you look a little different :). Well I am off somewhere today, last night I went with my cousin and friends to see these festival of lights. So this morning - yeah it's still morning :), I have no clue where the day shall take me but it's going to take me somewhere. It was -20 in Scotland today wow! I am watching TV while on my laptop. Weekends hmmm there is something to be said for weekends within the winter. It's much different than Summer that is for sure.
Thanks Maggie, you must work for the Happy Police and do those shifts :)
It's a joke and there is a story behind it. One that came by way of a friend of mine named Francaise who I have known since he was the bass player within this band I had years ago. The Happy Police was his take from Cheap Trick's, "The Dream Police"... :)
Kimmy sushi in winter? I kinda get the idea with Friday, you have a great family there and much like an online friend here I see many commonalities with you and Cheryl. Not all but some, good ones that is. A great Saturday to you Kim.
Same to you Sue. It's 10:30am here and I need to......you know what I find that during this time of the year I have the hardest time in shaving. I have always had to shave in the morning and the around supper but is that change from indoors to outdoors? I literally have to use my shaver then to get a close shave. Now where did that come from? But honestly within winter I find this has always been the case in comparison to summer.
Enjoy you day there dear Sue. I have wrote all within my own blog and not visited others but shall. g'day.
Thanks Sous, I have a few photos that I took after doing some browsing at this one store today and then there after I went and got groceries and I enjoy this but I find that it is not quiet as fast and now I have my desktop and it's fixed so I shall but will have to go back to that as well as visit others writes as well. The weather through out the day as well as the past few have been so atypical for here as we usually have more sun than cloudy days but tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny all day which is fine by me.
Same to you my dear. May you have an awesome weekend ;-).
ReplyDeleteso glad you had a great Friday night! We did too, out for sushi is our usual Friday outing. :) Peace to you too friend.

Theresa within your ancestors is there a surname called Clause :)
ReplyDeleteThe same to you there and it's warm for these parts today but I can see where even some places
that are tropical have had winter.
Everyone is seemingly having another atypical year as this happened last year Cheryl.
