  1. Hmm John Lennon - Well, his music inspires a lot of young musicians to write. I think he is still relevant.
    Happy Birthday John Lennon.

  2. Karen, it's amazing to see all the tributes to him and how many bands from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and ones within the decade are making tributes to this Man who came from Liverpool and then around the world right now there are tributes as this is 30 decades since and he might not be with us but in some ways Lennon really is. During times with the Beatles and then on his own. Thanks for taking the time to read - Peace.

  3. Hey! I HOPE he's still relevant... He had the Media Microphone (which I sometimes had too), and he said all the crapola that I had been saying for years (and still say). If he isn't still relevant, we're all screwed...

I was 70 this year too (not that it matters), except we were concurrent.

  4. Seemingly his age has become an relevant with all. Within our own manner and way.

  5. Guess it or him is not relevant here, I have heard nothing about it.

  6. Someone who stands up for love and peace will always be relevant. We need to hear it constantly. It is my mission to live in love.

  8. Hahahaha! Would you believe, initiativestain, that I got one of those preachy Christian slideshows on my Email, and "Imagine" was used as the music for it...words and all? Some of them read the bible and don't process it. Apparently, it's the same for lyrics.

  9. John was John....it's really something that when I could see all the videos that were made in dedication for what would be his birthday.
Not within a negative manner but in a good manner as I don't think he shall ever be forgotten, it's actually a very pleasing thing
to see how this tribute has happened for the past few days from a variety of celebrities, artists, common folk, and as well others within
    the music arena.

  10. There were too many, I came to know more of John by way of my older brother. As I was never the
Beatle collector but as time went on I came to appreciate the Beatles as well as John and Paul.

  12. I do believe that there shall come a time if not already that they their lyrics and meanings
will be taught within Universities much of the likes of others of past.

  13. It is a great song. Will be and is a classic

Maybe some of those more in music find him that way-not so sure the younger coming out feel that impact as the older. I was helping watch some of the young teens and young adults and such at the fairgrounds this year (big group) as they stayed overnight with their animals. During a group discussion his name came up. Not many responded at all -untill someone said one of the Beatle than it was an oh than somewhat so- so interested nod. They heard of him in school. Morrison they knew better (maybe from movie). Can't say I didn't feel a lot older than. Ouch- Yesterday

  15. It exemplifies Haddie as now Paul will play his own songs, and as well some of the Beatles. Look at Cirque du Soleil and all.
Then when you go to Apple.com and within every month seeming there is at least a few songs that are being played.
So it all was yesterday but they became immortalized in a manner. I can't see I have ever seen that happen with
any band since. Some have a long period, but the Beatles, John, Paul, Ringo and George go far beyond yesteryear as
    they are within the day.
