Well This Was Unexpected

This morning I was literally up early seeming my "inner clock" has kind of changed or someone has hit me with some adrenaline. I have been doing these runs within the morning. Thereafter I just took off downtown within my car and thought I would get a few pictures while the city is still asleep and it really was. As it was silent as can be. Thereafter later within the day a situation happened within family and the next thing you now my mums within the hospital. So an hour ago I just arrived back she is good. She apparently thought she had cracked a rib but the case is that she has fractures and with the change of weather it acts up.  So I have been "there and back" twice today and then I took her home and she seemingly is fine. I had to go get her medications and from the pediatric emergency ward they prescribed her a pain medication. I would have like to see them keep her in for a day if not more. However seemingly she is alright. So ironically today was a day of "just do it" in several areas.  As far as the run it's unbelieveable how some others are up early within the morning as well going and doing that night time run.

I don't think one is ever really prepared for the unexpected but I guess it's the way in which you handle it. I used to do some very private pictures with regards to my family even within hospitals etc - however I have come to decide that what is personal is personal and there are some pictures that I would never place on here as I used to before.

So it goes...

  4. It's probably the best thing that could have happened yet no one really cares to be within hospitals the person or those within family. But Monday it was.

  5. very strange, must be something in the air, or maybe a start to a new week. I couldn't sleep last night so went in to work at 1 in the morning to do my cleaning where brian works instead of going to bed and having to get up at 4. I sure hope your mom is ok.

  6. Kim, The last two nights I have woken wide awake 4am. Most often it's around 6 but I am a morning person. She is good, if not they would have kept her in over night. So it's all well. I see you have some pictures. We shall see how time goes here as it's 10pm right now.

    Hey thanks much.

  9. :-) :-)
We must be prepared for surprises that showed up in our day to day.
Today is different from yesterday and tomorrow.
The important is how we face the day (which is not always the same), our way of dealing with the different situations.
And, for what you say, you managed very well to resolve all without stress, without anguish.
It was good for you and your mom.

    I hope sh's better.

About the photo...I'm curious.... can you explain?
    Please....

    Have a good night

  11. By definition one cannot be prepared for the unexpected. It can be frustrating when reflecting, how I could have done better. It is a question I ask myself, how to have better reactions?

  16. There is nothing more beautiful than being out and about when the rest of the world is sleeping .... I love wandering down to the beach during sunrise .... apart from the odd dog walker, or jogger the world is silently calm ..... beautiful time of the day ... kind of prepares you for anything, even unexpected hospital visits ~smile~
Glad to hear that everything is ok with your Mom .... ~hugs~

  17. Glad and happy that your Mom is doing better. I used to be an early riser when I was working (usually up at 4am) but now I sleep in till 6. The hustle and bustle of this city begins around that time...so it IS like an internal alarm clock.

  25. Bill ditto here I came to have three different shifts. So often I think that this early rising is mainly due to one shift that came to be predominant. As well I do enjoy it. Gives new meaning to early to bed and very early to rise....here is one for you. If you just hit your pillow with the numerical value of when you wish to wake up - most often with most people give or take a few minutes they will wake up at that time. Example if I tap my pillow six times .............usually I am up at 6am. Something to try when you don't have to be somewhere early!

  29. Darbie she is doing well one comes to realize how fast time goes by when it seemed as though she was just 50 and always the foundation in many ways. But she is the second youngest of a very large family and well she is getting up there. But medically she is doing well.
