  9. But with Dylan's Songs,, how do you chose a favorite.. Wow so many. I once made a college where I superimposed a few images together and tinted the picture hues of blue.. I dedicated it and named it... "Tangled up in Blue"..

I love all his old classic songs and even the last 13 yrs there is two favorites he has come out with , one is called "Aint Talking" , and "Not Dark Yet",,, those two songs.. wow first time I heard "Not Dark Yet",, I cried... So nice that there is others out there that love Dylan as well, including our friend Jack, who brought this post about.. Thank you Jack. :-)

  12. Yet there are those in that "seldom" category who have made a profound influence in my life with unconditional love. Everyone's had to repent over things in life..sometimes things they have done wrong and sometimes of not doing good when they could have or shared a kind word . Today is a new day filled with new mercies

  14. Myself truly Lynn I never did get him he came during an era where there was the so many artists but I would have to look at his words. But Leonard Cohen......he I understand and truly came to find was something very special within his poems, the interviews I have seen.
And I forget the name of one artist that Leonard is always promoting but he and Dylan really are within there own element and always seemingly were.

  15. Well, after you repent, then normally you should be more coherent with your values and actions. Isn't that what repentance is about?

  16. ~smile~ ... I have to agree with you there .... for once you have repented ... you have learned the mistake or whatever ... the sin ~smile~ .... and if you have truly reprented ..... repentance adds substance to your values ?

  20. I don't "get" Bob Dylan! *duck* Just kidding! :)

It's very true, and I'm sure that, although I always try to stick to my beliefs (which often gets me into hot water), I know that I have also, at times, acted out of convenience. Not perfect, nor would I want to be. (That's God's domain) Learning is a lifetime journey, and all I can be, is the very best that I know how to be. I'm not everything I want to be, but I'm more than I ever thought I would be!! *smile*
