Something very worth thinking about and I do thank Summer for the link. As I do wish to write within this area within this week if time allows. Thank you Summer and to all the link is as follows:
http://www.operation-emotionalfreedom.com/index-4.html
This is kinda serious matter. And for my own thinking it is not only those that we see that needs help ... there are those who seems normal but deep inside them, they're emotionally disturb. They need help too, but how is the question ... because most of them doesn't come out in the open. Many thanks for the link Jack. I wasn't able to finish it, am quiet busy here, i coming on and off. God bless everyone :)
ReplyDeleteActually it's not my own link which I found. This was found way of a fine lady named Summer. I hope to work along within this areas tomorrow and it's something that is especially important to those that have seen good men and women come back after there duty time and find they are home but are with assistance within the scope of mental illness especially within areas of Post Traumatic Disorder and other stress inclined areas which are related to being within the wars of recent.
ReplyDeleteWe (as in my local veterans club) are just beginning to see present-day vets (Iraq, Afghanistan and Peace-keeping forces) returning from active combat, not just one deployment but 4, 5 and six - MADNESS! We thought our Vietnam troops returned damaged but these guys are far, FAR worse and suicide rates from recent conflicts are atrocious. You would think our defence forces would have learned from the mistakes of Vietnam.
ReplyDeleteYes I saw many come back from Afghanistan over the last five years.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this and I pray more get the help they so need.
ReplyDeleteWar changes people for ever .... I grew up in a time when young boys fresh from school had to join the army to fight our borders .... not one of those men are without scars today. Killing is not a normal thing no matter the cause .... so trauma of mind is inevitable. Strangely enough I would have thought it would be a normal for anyone coming home after a war to receive special therapy .... rehabilitation .... I know our boys had to spend a certain amount of time with professionals before they came home .... my brother was in care for about six weeks. I wonder now how he would have been without this care. Its so sad ... and truly tragic that any mind has to go through this!
ReplyDeleteMy intentions are to write on this very areas later today if all goes well Cath. As you know I reside here within Canada and I hope to write something of worth within this area and if all goes well get a few pictures from a few old friends from Edmonton International Airport as well as from a few within the Air Forces - GM - good morning. This was something Summer had posted and last night I knew there was not enough time and it would be a two day endeavour.
