Saturday eve Musings...

It was a full day and am glad with that despite this situation that is ongoing with my teeth. I literally have never wrote not talked or had problems with teeth like what I have within this last little while. But aside of that I truly enjoyed the weather that has come for this time of the year as within the last two years we have had rather harsh seasons. Where right now this is all fine by me. Pending on where you are the end of October us usually the benchmark time to that change that comes along with the white stuff. Yet here when I returned from Montreal there really wasn't a summer at all there was more rain that had taken place within that last thirty years.  Some enjoy just taking it easy, I do enjoy that but at the same time I truly love getting out and especially right now taking in as much as one can.

I am not sure about you, but have you noticed how dark it gets so early now. There has been such a drastic change it seems within the last two weeks it came to be noticeable to me. And this is where I do have to say I have the greatest admiration to those that live within climate structures are without one season that's fine by me.

Man I just went out on the porch and it's 7:30pm here and it's pitch black outside.

  13. Yes, it gets dark here now by 7pm! However, today was a GORGEOUS day with beautiful sunshine and warm temps. Like a beautiful spring day, which is my favorite season! Got the house all to myself until tomorrow, and am loving the peaceful quietness! Just finished watching the movie "Letters To Juliet." The movie was filmed in Rome, and had some terrific song selections. It's more of a chick flick, not a guy type of movie I guess, so this was a perfect opportunity for me to watch it. :) Being the hopeless romantic that I've always been, I literally cried all over my bowl of ice cream! LOL!

Hope you enjoyed your day, too, Jack, and hoping that your dental problems have much improved! Have a great day tomorrow! :)

  20. Hi Jack, I love the photo of the leaves. I'm glad I don't have any to rake up just yet!

We 'fall back" at 2 am on the first Sunday in November. It's getting dark earlier here, too...and cooler. We are still having a few very hot days, but the nights are comfortable. No more air conditoning! yay! I'd much rather have the windows open and fresh air.

here are some interesting facts about the time change:

  22. I love the change in the seasons ... its getting darker here too but there is still much to see .... Love watching nature prepare for winter ... so clever ~smile~ ... There is something rather special about winter .... I love walking in the crisp icy air ... it kind of awakens the senses .... hurrying to get home to the cosy warmth ... its kind of invigorating!! Our time goes back on the 31st of this month .... so it will soon be even darker ~grin~ ....
Sincerely hope the teeth are without problem soon .... I certainly don't envy you this at all.

  24. And as I've said many times, I do love this time of year, yes even the getting dark sooner. It's summer I don't like very much, because it's just too hot & humid here in the south.
