This was taken early this morning. I shows in some manner how things are here in one part of the downtown. Today we hit record tempertures and spring is definately here. I never pay too much attention to those that keep contemplating on the possibility of some more...
Mornings are tremendous - they literally are the best part of the day.
You took the street very early Jack. Yet the street parking was almost full.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me/us along, it gives me some idea how Canada looks like through your lens. Great.
Take care and hugs tight :)
.I agree ...mornings are the Best part of the day ..and Quieter..interesting video..ty..:)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely ... I love the morning ... peaceful and fresh. :)
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see the sun shining bright there, must have been a beautiful day. We had a record 13 degree C today here. The company that you said own the Plaza might be the same that own the Fairview Center down here in Pointe-Claire, maybe. It is nice to see parts of your city. Now, maybe you can find the story of why the statue of Diefenbaker is there. Tell us if you find out. A good evening to you Jack.
ReplyDeleteSaskatoon. Wasn't that the birthplace of Joni Mitchel?
ReplyDeleteJust came back on here and yes she is from here Doug...
ReplyDeleteJohn G. Diefenbacker was a Prime Minister in Canada that literally worked along with the John F Kennedy during several things especially the Cuban missile crisis. And then some, it's a story onto itself much too long for now. As far as who he was Danielle it's here within my blog somewhere :). Fairview Center is owned by Cadillac Fairview Corporation - oui. :)
ReplyDeleteMaggie this really is that time of the year where one is so glad that winter is over. I can't begin to explain how that feels but it truly is.
ReplyDeleteCaroline tomorrow is a lucky day if you know what I mean! :) I thought I would quickly add that as your over there from Ireland. It was neat just capturing the city while it started to beat.
ReplyDeleteThis is just one city...there are several cities and they don't look like this one. That is what is unique and I think it's much the same in every country pending how large they are. A city in St.John's, Newfoundland, Montreal, Quebec, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Toronto, Ontario, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Calgary, Alberta - all do look different.
ReplyDeleteAs it does in any other country that is relatively large.
Thanks Tee.
ReplyDeletenot showing here.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you too.
ReplyDeleteThe best within things is yet to come btw I did send you a happy birthday DJ.
ReplyDeleteVery nice speaking voice my dear, enjoyed the info , have a great day now Rosiex
ReplyDeleteWow....wish I knew how to do all that. I just like saying the words Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
