Happy St.Patricks Day - Video.avi

It is a time of Green. Although there is one musician that is in orange - who really cares it's more of what the intention is. There is one friend that is directly from Ireland and I do wish her and everyone a great "Paddies" day.

Within this while I was downtown I had the chance to capture some Irish musicians and there are some that are here from Ireland. So I truly wish to send this to you, as today is the day in which we welcome the day of the "luck charms". An oldie yet a goodie. :)

  2. Makes one feel like doing the "Irish Jig," does it not? I love to watch Irish dancing, most especially "step dancing!" Awesome! These two musicians were really quite good, and you can see that they were really having fun, too! Thanks so much for taking and sharing your video with us, Jack! Happy St. Paddy's Day to ya!!! :)

  3. A very Happy St. Paddy Day to you there as well. As there is a huge area within NY that really celebrates this day from dusk till dawn as I recall.
It's a charm and a tradition, perhaps a lucky day as well :)

  4. Reminds me of the Irish musicians I used to hear at the Shannon Arms Pub in San Francisco. Good memories and rousing music! Thanks for this video gift Jack.

  5. Yes, indeed there is a huge annual celebration in NYC beginning with the St. Paddy's Day parade on Fifth Avenue, plus the many other celebrations throughout the city that last long into the wee hours of the morning.(Been to quite a few personally!) At one time I had an office that overlooked Fifth Avenue, and I could watch the parade right from my office window! I would imagine that there are parades almost everywhere on this day! The day is truly a charm!!

  7. Nice video with happy foot stompin' music!

In Philly, St Patrick's Day is the perfect time of year to show your true Irish ... to celebrate the Irish Heritage or simply another reason to party.
There's always a big parade and plenty of things to do ... including a St Paddy's Ghost Tour that follows a supernatural trail of banshees, bogies and hobgoblins and could scare the shamrock right out of you. :-D

  8. Never thought of this but there is a place within the heart of downtown here called Flanigans - I had not seen it nor every been to it and when I walked in yesterday to see if there was somet theme oh.............there certainly was. Philadelphia would have a large portion of Irish I would think Frani. I am not sure where they came from these two. But yet remember the Irish Rovers! "Here eyes they shine ......." I forget the song but it was an interesting full day! :)
