Common Grounds

I have my own manner that I enjoy writing. Doesn’t everyone? Now and then there are those that will play that silly game and I don't place much weight within it now. I used to but I don't on this here now, as there really is no meaning within it. If one posts something it's all within reason. Some do and will think they are better than another person. What creates the malice within some people I ask myself? I know the group from which they come from. There is this word called ego. We all have an ego, naturally we are human beings yet there is much more to life. Yet there will always be those that for whatever reason they wish to play it. I have no intention in being a people pleaser. Where my intention does lay is within writing in the manner that I do. Everyone does. There will always be some that have anger or will play it for all it's worth. I don't place anything on my blog, which isn’t something that is authentic. As for where this one came from that I deleted was one that I would think part of a small group of people that literally get off on doing what he does. For myself, I write and enjoy this and I am certainly not perfect but man I will tell you there are some child like adults that feel they are above the rest. The way I see it no one is better than another. But within the nature of some you really have to question why they do these things. Yet it's that old thing of postures. Life is much to short. I literally look at things on the brighter sides when I write. I can only be myself. And nothing more.  The fake game is not for me, nor the pretentious personalities.  There are those areas in which I do get from a few now and then. More than often I am writing with what I had thought. It's a blog, yet it's something we do enjoy. For one that I deleted and band, I have no remorse, as I literally don't care. This is about enjoyment as well as respect, at least that is the way I see it. My intention has never been to please everyone yet to enjoy this. Certainly we all have commonalities and differences - yet some have that mentality of either "I am better than you" - I can't say I am into that concept. Then there is the "different strokes for different folks". You can't please everyone but you can make the choices. This is a place from which I enjoy the good fun coupled with writing within my own “non fake” manner. So for the one that is intertwined with a few others, within a small philosophical moment I will say the crap may flow down as well the sludge does come up. As common as they really are there is always that need to play it.

There is that nice little botton called click and delete.

  1. there sure seems to be a lot of "opinion" on the blog these days, isn't there? i, too have had to delete a person or two since i signed up here on multiply which is my right as well as anyone elses. most of the people i have met here are good people with good insight and good humor, but every once in awhile......

Yet it's a blog and I hate deleting but now and then Linda understands that there is good intent and there is malice. A great one to you as well Linda, I have not had as much time as I would like to be on here but I do enjoy it.

  6. I saw it and have read it this morning while i am preparing my things, thinking he is a friend of yours. There are so many kinds pf personality in here, and i've learned it rather late in my blogging life, but that is exactly why i am wary in accepting invites. But as you say, if i may quote -"there is that nice little button called click and delete" and that buttons are the ones i am using, if i sense somethings isn't alright.

Anyways, forget it Jack. Those were some among the many ... but we should always be on the look-out as always.
Always keep that smiles please ... blessings and hugs. tess :)

  10. I concur Jack...If I wanted to argue with someone all the time, I'd have to be feeling pretty lousy about myself. Very little point to this if we aren't usually enjoying the comments that come in and feel a bit enlightened.

  16. A good morning to you Jack. Blogging is supposed to be pleasant and a way of sharing. We expect comments and cannot all have the same opinions, however there is a way to disagree and remain respectful. I used to think that if someone did not like what was on my page, they just had to move on to another page, and if they did not understand, delete was always an option. So Jack, this is your page, your own and you do what you like on it. Take care and enjoy this day.

  18. Not having seen or read what it was that has upset you so much, I say use your edit and/or delete buttons ... and move on without fanfare. What's the point of fanning the fire? Just MHO.

  19. Sounds like it must have been a very rude person. Whatever happened to good manners? There are those who are small-minded, ignorant, rude, and in desperate need of attention. Forget about the "negative energy" of such people Jack. It really doesn't matter what they think, and they are not worth a second of your time.

We enjoy your blogs, Jack. You write with sincerity, and authenticity, and you are a pleasure to know! Have a wonderful day!!! :)

  21. Just be yourself and share what is on your heart or interest. I do care when someone says something hurtful and I wish I didn't take so much to heart . What's important to me is not allowing the hurtful things change who I am meant to be..You are so right no one can please everyone.
