I have been reading around much and as well I have enjoyed this experience there are some tremendous people on here. As well, there are those that will go the route of the contrary however here is a question what is your favorite song?
So many--- I'm a music lover so it can change from day-to-day. One of my all time favorites is, "Someone Like You" (Van Morrison's version and lots of other performers' covers...)
In all honesty it was a hard decision to pick a song. This one was picked because I was going through a tough time. Feeling alone ( there is nothing much worse than the pain of feeling alone when you are surrounded by people), when I heard Willie sing this on Austin City Limits, back in the day I realized I was not the only one that felt these feelings. Love, goodbye to dreams, the grief that follows but hoping there is something more out there for it to be right again, that is life.
Music is the love of my life and enjoy it from sunrise to sunset.I would have to say "You raise me up" by Josh Groban if I had to just choose one. "How great thou art" is right up there beside the one you wanted us to pick.........And all OLD COUNTRY,not the new era. ( Is that short enough) lol. Caroline
too many.. i can name few bands i like.. led zeppelin, nirvana, pink floyd, dire strait, coldplay, puddle of mudd, the kiss, police, deep purple, n blah blah blah!! rock = life!!
Gosh, I love all kinds of music from country to rock to some classical, even my boys scream stuff LOL! Drop by my page and my music can be different day to day.
I will when I get back to this as I have a few discs and my one favorite song to be honest it goes from classical, rock, such an array but when I get back I shall. There are too many great songs that I could list as there really isnt enough time within the day. Sinatra was always one of my favorites coupled with Nat King Cole...ironically. And then Norah Jones. :)
All the songs i put on my music video. But have a partial liking for The Nearness of you by Norah J., Sunlight by Kevin and By Yourside by Sade. And yes Truly, Madly, Deeply my all time fav and the one by Sting, Shape of My Heart.
