I Can't Say I Have Made a Resolution

This morning and through the day well for that matter this evening has been as well as I arrived home an hour ago. You would think it's Siberia! Tonight the winds are horrid, and for the last day it's as cold as it is. Weather has that way of repeating itself. Leading into my blog and writing. That all said I think there is a large difference to having a resolution. Challenging oneself and taking those steps are the most that one can do. It's literally something that one does in there own way. How many people repeat and repeat themselves. We do tend to become creatures of habit in many ways. Yet there are those down times for myself as well but the main thing is within quality of life. I know what I desire and aside of this cold I know where I wish to go. It's Friday eve and yet it feels like a Sunday. I never have cared for this type of weather as last year we really had it and it lasted so long. But this year hopefully it should be a much milder January - so I am hoping. In the past year I have had enough that has taken place in the last year that I enjoy this for what it is. It's not my life but it certainly is something in which I do enjoy writing to other people with. As far as what my goals are as mentioned before I have several of them that I have put in place and with all things going accordingly all shall come. It's not simple doing something especially when one has become used to a routine but those challenges that one takes is probably something that they keep to themselves. Is that a goal? I think it's more of several things a person does put in action - perhaps it's more of the within the needs and wants category. So I don't have a resolutions but I certainly do have goals. So I look at the good things within life and putting things back into motion. Mind you it could be warmer right now, but you can always find any given time and make and excuse. Excuses usually comfort us within our own area that we have come to be used to. So here it's the first day of the New Year and tomorrow is the second day of the new year really is there any difference? I really don't think so.

  13. I dont have resolutions either, dont think they matter, its usually one day at a time, so I make one as I wake everyday and it could be as simple as - Listen more, talk less or get everything done before a certain time or Do everything patiently or Surprise your children or family... its simple but joyful.

  14. I don't do yearly resolutions. I have set specific goals in my life and I just keep working on each one until I reach it's entirety. That make take more than a year depending on the goal or less. About twice a year I evaluate where I am in those goals and make necessary revisions.

  15. I may make a resolution, but independently of any date and very carefully, because I do my best to keep my word.

It's cold here too and I also had to keep telling myself yesterday was Friday and not Sunday. :-))

  20. It is a joy. And Rashmi I truly regard your writes when they take place very highly as you know. Right now the very thoughts that you have placed down give way to the thoughts galore. I am not one to wish to be to "everyone" and I enjoy this within simplicity....here again I wish I had a mic. But it's all within the collaborative.

If I had one thing I would put together a group with a variety of people. But I have done that and that was then and this is now. Render what you enjoy is what I feel. Yet we all are human beings.
