For me I love my blog and I love all that has taken place within it I posed this question not in a controlling manner, I have had some fine friends that literally I don't chat with and then there are some that are like me that are within a network setting as I don't wish to write entirely to all the people on multiply. There are those that are interconnected and then there are those that freely flow with what they write. I have always found it a great thing and such an enjoyment that I have done this post. I could PM all 90 people on my blog but I thought the best thing would be within the new year to reset the foundation of my blog. It's obvious to me whom is who as it's all within the writes. And I literally enjoy it however within the new year or on this day of the first I thought that there are some that have never wrote back, and I did get some rather annoying messages. So this is the why I made the decision of yesterday. Some will but you don't push it. As well, I have introduced others to other in a good will. As it was obvious that they had commonalities. As well I have promoted a few groups - without the expectation of anything in return.
How one does this some will probably pass by, there after there are others that have no problems as they don't tend to over think things and the repoire that takes place is one that comes about within the connects that are made all within good taste.
I don't chat much or talk on here as I really enjoy the writings and as well sometimes this system for some reason will not allow me to unless I start hooking up wires from one laptop to a computer - I prefer to just write as it all does come out within the writes or dialogue. Does one need to have 300 people on there blog? I couldn't do it nor do I wish too. Yesterday I deleted someone as they were on my page and then sending others to my page with in order to add more people to a group. The foundation that I set on this blog was all within a network or foundation if you will so I am just rejuvenating it. If you have the chance please look at the note I have on here and it will lead you to the question as I am going to continue to write and read.
~ We all do our own blogs within our own very ways ~
Yes we do. Have a good night Jack, I'm going to bed.
ReplyDeleteGood night and all the best GG.
ReplyDeleteyes, we are all unique Jack and that is the lovely thing about us humans. so many varieties, yet so many similarities that we don't feel all alone and outcast.
ReplyDeleteI went outside to see what it's like and found out how unique the weather is tonight! :)
ReplyDeleteI was out earlier in the day for breakfast, but have stayed inside since then. it's too dang cold for me! bbbrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was out with my cousin came back and then headed to the hospital...earlier I went for a small run and much too cold.
ReplyDeleteah! yes.. and that 's the way it should be.
ReplyDeletecheers!
I feel so, I think it's all within the variety I have had some situations the last three days and I will make a mention as I do believe this. The only reason I did this tonight rather that a write of something else was that I found that one group was sending many people to my blog and you don't push yet there is a time that I did this as the independant person is much more than a group to me. Some still do write on there own, I am not against groups but with this particular one I deleted and I don't like to do this and then came others and I am not into groups that have one member that join you to collectively get all the people off your blog into some religious group or otherwise. Groups are rendered by way of one noticing them and then joining rather than kinda soliciting in a way.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow I keep it silent and then after it goes on and on there comes a point that you do something and I did there could be another way but I really have wrote to other blogs and wrote to others and I feel that it's all one persons own thing and then it trickles into being so much more as you gain from others in what they write.
ReplyDeleteSo time could have been spent in another way but I thought it over and this was the best way I could see by way of blogging on multiply..
well, you find all variety of people. even i don't like group stuff. I enjoy my liberty. just don't join that group and don't accept the friend request.
ReplyDeleteI love multiply. i think it is the best place.
I do partake in this Picture Perfect but occassionally the main reason is the arrays of pictures from around the world, but outside of that I just post my own things and I love that flow....I have tried this facebook for maybe 5 times and this is where I enjoy to do blog when I do. Actually there has not been one night I dont think that I have not posted something ....no there have there are times I just read and read and you learn from it. It's not about copying ideas it's just the aspects of others.
ReplyDeletei too dont like facebook and the whole race with teh friend collecting on it. ppl dont seem to really talk and discuss stuff on facebook.
ReplyDeletemultiply on the other hand is such a great portal for exchanging thoughts and ideas.
Facebook is a social networking site. i met a lot of old friends there, my class 10 maths teacher and i am in touch with my cousins who live abroad. it helps to be in touch with people. it is not a place to blog. so i think Facebook and multiply has no comparison. different leagues altogether.
ReplyDeleteToo each there own but when Y360 went down, a friend from Malaysia set this all up for me I kid you not and over two or three years I have so much on here that that you can look back at it and it's like a .....it's amazing. The exchange is great. Everyone does there own thing but it's terrific but I keep it networked meaning what I write and the res ponces say within this space, I really read before I add. And it's been great it's not just one culture or country but the variety is what makes it so unique.
ReplyDeleteyes, i realize that, and i appreciate that facebook has helped me connect with old friends too...
ReplyDeletei guess i wanted to say that multiply is like facebook, only much much better!
yes facebook definitely serves a purpose... it's a way for me to keep in touch with acquaintances with whom i have a hi-hello relationship and with whom i only care to share the superficial aspects of my life. but multiply/blogs is where i keep the real me :-D
Some like to keep within there own, I believe in multi culture not a political statement as I was raised that way...
ReplyDeleteFacebook was started by a canadian it's huge but no thanks, I will go in and say hi but I have no idea if it gets to anyone in there.
Sometimes you make me feel confused. I don't always know what you are searching for.
ReplyDeleteI was rejuvenating the friends I have and the ones that are not online anymore or otherwise that is all.
ReplyDeleteIt's time to head to sleep - good night!
ReplyDeleteI find I don't really have time for groups here. I prefer the personal writing of individuals, even if it is open to everyone.
ReplyDeleteMorning guys, Just read this blog, I can see that on Multiply there's more chance to talk more on a intricate level than on Facebook =X
ReplyDeleteWell , i really do love reading blogs , it can be about any topic really , i also have some friends with whome i chat with on rare occasions, but, i do choose whome they are with caution, i never betray a confidance either or carry idal gossip on from one page to the other, i would like to think that i was a trusted and loyal friend and valued .
ReplyDeleteYou said it best.I have a small contact list..and these people have touch my life even though they may not know it..
ReplyDeleteEverything about blogging depends on the time I have on hand. Sometimes I can get to all, sometimes none, sometimes I get on continously, sometimes days go by without any contact. It reflects my life, its usually a flood or a drought. But the fact is when I read, I enjoy reading thoughts and perspectives, it gives me another way of looking at life, another connection to humanity hence understanding it. To me thats fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThe few things I've learned about blogging are these. If it becomes a "chore" or feels like "Homework", it's time to take a break. Secondly, there will be cyber arguments because no matter how good of a writer you may be, the written word is digested differently than the spoken word which most times has some type of inflection or some type of facial expression behind it.
ReplyDeleteLastly, remember the blog is for YOUR enjoyment. I can't tell you how many blogs I've read where people tell the profile what they should or shouldn't post.
Have a Happy New Year!
Once again this is not a group. Nor facebook..
ReplyDelete(she is new to my blog yet after reading her blog I thought why not)...
To summarize it I have taken breaks and then I have had many things asked of me by way of PM. I dont mind the pm's I even send them myself. I enjoy all that are on here literally I do read them even at 83 people. But this is for expression and enjoyment Kath. You were the one that how we came to know each other during the days of Y360 and you put together something that I am not sure if you backed it up but you literally had a "people meeting people" and it was something that one could enjoy as through you people did start to meet people and it was a great thing all within Y360 now we are in a new era.
ReplyDeleteI think that we get to all as much as we can within the time that we do have. And it's fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI was so often warned of a large list. And yet I do enjoy the list I have, I can't get to them all but I enjoy to write and as well to read and reply as I deem fit.
ReplyDeleteNo one knows it all, but there is a gain and then there is the enjoyable things. It's a sphere onto it's own.
Only one group I partake in and that is PP and no other and there never shall be any other I love the liberty of writing.
ReplyDeleteThe odd occassion I will open to everyone but within this DJ, I kept it confined.
Same here, sometimes I will look beyond and look at a variety of sites as I love to see the variety. But I do entrust loyal friends as you put it.
ReplyDelete(Multi tasking here as I am just preparing the oven go figure : ) )...
Betrayal who knows if it's done, but good intuition serves as a plus.
glad to hear it's all worked out! hugs!
ReplyDeleteArielle this all worked out better than I thought it would! I so didnt want to do this but glad I have.
ReplyDeletegood!
ReplyDeleteThe groups I am in are simply hobby groups like crafting and a couple that help you learn how to post graphics, change your page kind of thing and one group that has interesting and helpful things for women about health and exercise, fitness. I quit the groups I can't keep up with . The ones I am in there is no pressure to post anything I just visit when I wish or see something of interest.
ReplyDeleteYes we do, that is what makes it interesting and fun
