This Man of the Sea

I am not on here to write about a blog but about a man there is this gent that surpasses something I think the word would be integrity. I have partaken within this one group as well as I have promoted it but within it I have never seen anything like what has gone on within exchanges I was talking to a friend earlier this morning and I really felt sorry that this one person had passed on. I never knew him nor most within this group/blog but this person obviously did something different - from what I can see he was retired from the Navy and as well he literally travelled and met some of the people. Integrity comes to mind. I thought I would post this as I have seen the one picture that was placed on with regards to him and unfortunately he passed away from a stroke at a rather early age. I would have like to have met him and it's unfortunate that I never had that chance. So often you can see the variance and the mannerisms of a person. I have been doing some wash here believe it or not but this John O. It seems to me he was a very ordinary man yet extraordinaire which to me equates to integrity....What so often is understood never needs to be said and I think he probably lived within this manner. A link from a good old friend of mine and just one example of a story of this man.

  6. hey Jack...just saw this in my inbox ...yes John was indeed a great among men ...just want to thank you and clarify a few things ..John wasnt in the navy..though he loved to collect navy memorabilia ..especially patches and badges..though he also collected many other military and civil patches (ie fire and police depts) John would never miss a chance to meet a friend he met here...a very loving and real of a person you would ever meet... the Picture Perfect group has developed several very close friendships... and many friends ive met through that exchange are now very close friends ..not just online but in the flesh and blood world as well...we seem to draw quality people for the most part ..like yourself..from what ive seen in the last bit you seem to be a compassionate and caring soul so its been my pleasure and good fortune to meet up with you..and thank you for paying respects for my dear friend John

I just arrived home and I do thank you, I don't know how I shall do this but this evening here I am going to write a poem that I hope goes to the family that is my main objective. Thank you Gary or Gator.
