Well it's the new day did anything really change? I am still having my coffee in the early morning and this is a day within many days of a new year. I watch times square as I recall in being there and how it's different but here it was and is cold yet there is a new decade upon us. I was reading one blog that really summed it up with the idea of this is just one day in many so just "Do It". I think it made sense. Now with all of the house is warm, it's a new year but it's one year within many. So within this morning some may have hangovers from the night before but I am just sipping on my coffee and glad to be indoors.
Is anything that different? I don't think so I think that many of us were bring in the new year within our own way and we now are just living in what we desire. Some are comfortable and some want something more. Most of all what the New Year brings is just that a new day.
hope your new year brings what you would like-
ReplyDeleteI hope you are content in life.

ReplyDeleteIf you are a contented person then you could sail through another new year without any bother but if on the other hand you feel discontented in any way then do something about it as soon as possible, do not sit and wait for the mountain to come to mohamed.Happy new year to you my special friend.x

ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you, Jack. We can make this day within many anything we want!! A new year and a new decade can bring a new outlook for many! Wishing you a year filled with blessings.
ReplyDeleteTo me a new year is a new beginning, At one time i did not know if i would have another year, thank God i do stand at another year, with all empty pages, i look at the new year, as another chance to do all that i did not get to do last year, with your excitment and look on life i am sure it will be a different day , not just another day, you seem to find a lot of good in life and people , so i am wishing this year will be the most exciting one that you have had yet,, see jack that is what makes this life exciting , we never know what the next day holds, some are mundane and other are like oh my God what a day,,,,
ReplyDelete, nearly everything is closed here except games..sports events ..football..and Horse racing:),good dry day for it ....hope you enjoy meeting your cousin:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I slept in this morning, that's a first in a long time lol. But made coffee right away so I guess nothing has changed. Happy New Year Jack!
ReplyDeleteYes something changed I am another day older..:) really everyday is another day. Smile. The change happens when we do something different . I do have my goals though. I got to sleep late this morning and I liked that. The sun is shining so bright and pretty and I like that too. I don't think change has anything to do with the day it's a heart thing..but sometimes just knowing it's the beginning of a New Year can bring some thoughts of positive actions we may like to take. This first day of 2010 I send you wishes for a Happy and Prosperous New Year..And I always have my morning coffee !
ReplyDeleteand in this moment---newness---as in each moment----rain here announcing the arrival of the cold-----coffee hot---veg covered---cats sleeping where they wish---old horse nibbles on fresh dry hay----i am the only one wet i think---es bien amigo---the rain cleanses and the cold awakens---in this moment---and for you many blessings and many thoughts of newness and tolerance---acceptance and dreams---for we are truly all children----si?
ReplyDeletejust another day...oh now i have that song stuck in my head, LOL! very cold here as well! indoors is goood, LOL! hugs and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteI am feeling contented as I watch the birds in the backyard trying to hide from the snow that is falling. The world is quiet. I will do my walk and then read all day. I got some good books for Christmas. I want to be alone so am actually hoping nobody knocks on the door. :)
ReplyDeleteHope this year brings you peace and good health. Keep smiling.
ReplyDeleteThis is my own blog, everyone that is one here is just in the same manner that you sent me an invite. I am not a group dear. A great day to you.
ReplyDeleteJust arrived home after getting together with my cousin and man GG it's cold! Tomorrow it will be much different.
ReplyDeleteThe very same to you Terri. A very good outlook!
ReplyDeleteI was as always up early and then I met with my one cousin that lives here and we went for a brunch and nothing really has changed except the weather :) Happy New Years Kelly.
ReplyDeleteYour words are worth a thousand. You really do know how to place it all in perspective!
ReplyDeleteAfter another walk while all were mostly still sleeping not a run and then coming home and warming up by way of a hot shower - yes it's indoors for today here with these temperatures and a new day is here that was not much different than two days ago yet it's new :)
ReplyDeleteJimi, if you ever want my email just ask....Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThe restaurants opened here and that is about it mind you here we are the host of this years WHL - The World Hockey League. Yet I don't have my car yet so the pictures take a backside, my cousin she is great yet she has here own quandries. She is married now but still not happy...go figure to have that kind of discussion on the new day of 2010. Yet you listen and then you change the topic and look over to others and say "Okay this is not exactly what I had pictured"....different things for different folk.
ReplyDeletesounds about right ... :)
ReplyDeleteNothing has change really but where we take it too is our own desires...:)
ReplyDeleteStill got the bills from 2009
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!!
True lol
ReplyDeleteIt was just another year gone by...
ReplyDeleteThere was one noticeable difference...
It flew by faster than the year before...
Another coincidence Frani as I just finished writing on this!
