Friends

Hmmmm......I wonder.....“Sometimes you put walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.” For some reason this caught my eye. Are we not all flexible enough to have that open side with each other and allow the fences to come down and enjoy each others writes. I have gotten on here and within the eve as I am not on here in the day I find that I have missed out on the many things. As most of you know I did do a clean up but .............I think ya know what I mean. It's fun to read others blogs from all over. Mind you there are those........you know what I mean but perhaps I missed something. When one can look at themselves and honestly take everything into account - it does give reason to ponder.

1. Here is a question to everyone I hope you do have the time. Are you opened to everyone within your writes? I so wish I had a voice on here as it's not some stern sob if you know what I mean. And yes Jack does smile as do you but I enjoy this at night.

Anybody?

  1. Sometimes only to my contacts, sometimes everyone. It depends on the writings.

  2. Yeah I like my contact but at the same time I do like writing and this was wrote quickly. I am not one to wish to have everyone on my blog but I do enjoy the
variety.....I noticed this and I don't chat much and perhaps that is the reason. But yet ....it's just a question combined with a thought. Not all that serious.

  3. I am pretty much opened to everyone. However, I don't write something every day. I just don't have the time or something to talk about. On those days I go about reading what other people have to say and commenting there.

  4. For every wall, there's always a loose brick Jack. The walls are protection, but I think people really desire connection with others. Why else do we blog?

  7. When I do choose to write, my posts are open to my friends and contacts.I do not post often, then when I do its just what I am thinking at the moment. There are those that write to themselves, while othere share what it is they write. Some are not as open as others, because their lives are private and they keep their thoughts within themself. To ponder the question,no one really know nor will inderstand what you are trying to say within this post.I had to read it twice before commenting. Then too, finding the time to write can be a problem with many, different schedules, family.I havent comment on this post so why would you single me out??Its all good,I only write when I feel like writing, there are no wall when I do write.Apology accepted.

  9. Parrie me as well, last night I just enjoyed reading literally and I get on here in the even and I love to read around. I do get many pms now and then but when I finally came to one blog I read this and it did make me think. I like what "Lady of the Lakes" wrote.

  10. Yeah I did do that cleaning up of my blog and then there is that one side of you that asks if you made the right decision.
It's a natural thing for anyone Maritess.

  13. Likewise here Julie, I find at times the day is good and then within the eve perhaps I am too serious as
I love to write on things that are within my own way it's a summary and never fabricated.

  14. Yet I am not perfect as I dont talk to anyone, on this blog to get a voice over for some reason is not possible
but the one think I know as a part of the human condition is that we tend to assume sometimes.

  15. Assuming ~ that is a problem of most peoples, trying to put words to ones mouth or writings. But the enjoyment is there often times ... and the truth lies on it too :)

  16. I mostly write for contacts, only if something was written for a group, I keep it open to everyone.. Guess I am a Private person.

  20. open with thoughts and self or open with access to all?

  21. I don't want to be huge, I think it would be where you choose to write to everyone pending what it is.
It really made me think on this as I get pm's and most all are great but to get on within the eve and
be able to write and read to ....................the variety I feel I am missing Arielle. I kind of feel that
that clean up that I did was right but in some ways it may have been wrong.

  22. I am not. Somethings were strictly for friends only, and that will always be. I don't wanna' sounds as if you're letting the whole world read your story. Why should we [?]

  25. How, I lost all the nicks of good friends from a group that was huge that I owned. That was then.
    This is now.

  26. Hey to everyone I do thank you for your thoughts. I love getting on here not an attention seeker I value and respect the friends I have
and this is for enjoyment....maybe a group I should start as I did before, or maybe I should just write one more. We shall see but
one thing I do assure you is that I value those that are blogging friends on here.

  27. As well I realized that this font was much too large but one Judgmentalism there is a thought...are we still isolated withing blogs
    due to groups? Yeah...

    ReplyDelete
  28. due to the family searching me all the ways to the web site or internet i have to delete my own blogs :( so sad ,, i would love to make a friends to people..seriously

    ReplyDelete
  29. I am wary of group blogs as they tend to be judgemental of other person ... and we could see it the way they exchanges notes, and i don't want that thing to happened ... being mean to anyone ... hope you got me there Jack :)

  30. Agnes I know I thought of starting a goup up again but that is not my intention...

    ReplyDelete

  34. Dont have the time it took more than one to make what was done and no there is so much time within a given day.
But I do miss it and with I would not have deleted it but that was then and this is now.

  35. I have not been to one person's blog and it's courtesy to do so...

  36. Most of my stuff which isn't much is either posted for everyone or friends of friends.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Kelly what ever one does is within there own manner, I have done the same, some are just to friends, some are to friends of friends.
Gosh we have allot of "stuff" kidding but I would think that you are asleep over there. :)

  38. My blog is generally open to everyone. I don't do a reality-type thing though, there are things I do not post.

I have rarely deleted anyone. One thing I don't like is when a message is sent under the PM format, but it's addressed to a long list of people and then pops up every time someone else replies. So I did delete someone who seemed to be doing that to get attention.

I don't worry about those who no longer post, other than hoping that all is well. Imagine you have problems and don't post for a while and then you come back and have no friends left.

Many issues can be resolved with patience and love.

  39. I write a poem each day , love to visit other pages too, i am always interested at what others have written about , mainly it is just poetry with me .x

  40. I should have read this one first but I didn't so my answer for this would also be included if you read my comment under your blog above "You Know" My personal blogs and family pictures friends only, if it's something I don't mind network to see I'll open it up as network..but a better explanation I wrote above :)

  41. I don't apply that saying to multiply at all. I believe it's talking about the walls we invisibly build around ourselves in our lives to try and protect ourselves from being hurt. All it does is isolate us from people around us until that person(s) persists in saying I'm not leaving until we figure out what's wrong, and draws us back in to life. Those personal walls don't prevent us from getting hurt, they just isolate us to ourselves.

  42. When I had my Yahoo 360 blog, I was entirely open with my thoughts and feelings. I enjoyed writing down my little personal observations about life. I never imagined at the time that my now fiance would read that blog after meeting me and decide that he wanted to get to know that person better. As you know , I don't blog now, but I enjoy being on others' friend lists. That was an interesting quote that you opened with; my thought too was the same as yours I believe : Why put up the walls? Why be difficult to approach? What can possibly be gained, and what more might be lost in the end?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Let me add, though, that there is a value in selecting with whom you wish to be that open . Once people became my friends, they were privy to whatever feelings I wrote down.

  44. My blog is open to everyone and sometimes I also comment to someone who isnt my contact.
