We all Learn

Well I arrived home and earlier I was at the university here and I went into one of the old lecture halls that I used to attend. How nothing has changed except that everyone had a laptop.

I walked in and the prof asked me whom I was and it was hilarious as all the students thought it was as hoot as well as a break from probably a mundane class. It was a psychology class that was going on and when he asked me what I wished to do when I just walked in up at the door I respond that I merely would love it if I could capture a picture.

Ironically it was fine and he was so liberal that he even allowed me to ask questions. I was going to do something rather unique but I didn't wish to push it. All in all, I love the university and all the areas and people that are within it as it's just a place where there is learning going on.

There is a gain in all things that we do as I do believe that we are constantly learning. When that process comes to an end there is no life - as there is no ending to what we have to gain within it all.

... and that is life, a continous process ... never ending discoveries ... yes, life stops when we stop learning ...

  3. I truly believe in that and I think that is what I love so much within the university here as it's a city that is really based and founded around the university.

  4. I nearly did something really creative as he was lecturing on introverts and extroverts and I asked a question and it was rather fun as my mention was don't we all have all facets within our personalities. I was not there to mock him it was literally something that was much to fun and interesting at the same time.

  6. Certainly so Karyn, I don't thing there is a time that it ever stops. Each and everyday I think there is something that we learn from and gain.
Life is not perfect but it's within it all there is a marvelous thing within what is gained.

  8. Yeah Terri, I just woke here it's rather early but it's that self time and I was thinking about how some/most all students had the same exact
seats that we sat in literally, but we wrote by pen AND THEN it was not easy as they space was so small - and now "they" do learn
but by way of a machine. I guess I am old school but it's changed in good ways and I am not sure if that is really how
it should be within the learning process - as the brain never entirely matures - neurologically until around the age of 26 yrs of age.

  10. Now I am so in touch with that as I do believe there is so many areas in which we do, pending the time frame only when we look back on it when we are old do we understand the facets and dimensions of our own making come to be revealed. Perhaps there are stages within all of this but it's something that does give appreciation to what life is not what life isn't.
In a way, we are the directors of our own lives as we have that choice as to what type of movie we are making and produce it in a way that we desire.

  11. Yes we are ever learning for sure. My youngest started college this year and my daughter is a senior at college and then ironically but so sweetly now that I am older some of my learning comes from surprising sources like from those much younger than I "My Grand Children! " I hope to always learn but never lose the wonder of life..the wonder keeps us young..Good post my friend got me to thinking about things Have a great day

  12. I enjoyed this post. I love doing things in the "moment". My grandmother is 92 and is always sharing something new that she has seen or learned, she is my inspiration! People who have stopped learning and enjoying the moment because they "know everything already" or have just lost their way and resigned themselves to just existing in this life seem to carry such a deadness of spirit.. You wrote truth when you penned, "When that process comes to an end there is no life".
    Thanks for the thoughts!
