Picture Perfect ~ Art

Designs from a Lens (23)

The theme this week with Picture Perfect is Art this was a picture at the beginning of this year it's in what is called the sturdy stone building. I thought that it was something that was within the realm of all areas the encompass art.

For the picture is one that I really don't know the history of whom created it but it was something that did catch my eye at the time.

  5. A good choice, Jack. Folk art like this sculpture is really the core of all artistic endeavours.

  7. My first impression was Noah's Ark and then I realized that it is more like a tribute to the pioneers who had to haul everything into their homesteads in Canada either by barge or overland. Or maybe the man drank a lot so they had to survive on rabbit stew that the wife caught? There are lots of stories in that. I always wonder what the artist was thinking but maybe that is beside the point.
