It's late here and most of you are all asleep. There is a time in which you find that the best thing in life to do is live on. Music is something that is such a great thing I know there are more that record on here than me and as well I think that when we don't think of whom is "connected" more than others we get away from the "borders" of life.
We all are on here for a reason. Each one of us has that reason. Some will find that it's hard to render a friend when they don't chat with them but this is about the good things in which we wish to share.
As well this is the time in which regardless of what is happening in our lives we do want to enjoy some thing and have that ability of self expression. This is December 1. I can't believe that it already that time of year. I was going to be leaving tomorrow on a trip, but then with all that I learned I decided that the best thing is to say where I am. Friends can just be friends by way of the writes. I am certain on that.
So I can assure you I am no control freak. The words don't come out right unless I hook up and do an audio. However that is not necessary. No I don't think so. I saw a few blog and wrote to them as you really can tell whom is real and whom is on here for one thing. And if so, that is alright as well.
Aside of all that is happening in the world. Why not just have some fun, I can't touch you but I can write. I make the day mine and I am certain that there are people out there that make it all happen. Life is not about doom and gloom, but it is certainly about expression. Notes without borders has always worked for me.
Friends can be friends...
G'day Jack,
ReplyDeleteYes it is that time of good will & it comes more quickly every year,I think it is a sign of adulthood when it speeds up, when a child it takes forever, but now it seems like a few weeks ago that we cleared away last years tinsel lol
I love this time of the year makes me reflect on how blessed I am to see another Christmas season..I think alot of people get caught up in the material things instead of really getting the meaning out of what Christmas is all about..I have never been into the shopping so much as am I into decorating and putting up my Christmas decorations around the house and so forth..I do alot of shopping online and so that's what I will do with my brothers presents as they will be going to Tennessee anyways..so I ship them there and this year we will focus on my granchildren and a few of my friends kids that has "adopted" us as Aunt and Uncle..I dont ever get caught up with the hustle and bustling of shopping..I focus more the true meaning of Christmas and I listen to my Christmas carols everyday while Im at home or in the car...Love this season..such a great season to share your blessings and happiness with other friends...
ReplyDeleteGreat Post Jack!(((huuuuuggss))))
I woke up and I agree. I for some many years have sent my gifts in newspaper, I started to do it when I was 30. As I thought within it all it's was starting to get to materialist. So I have done that for many years now. Ironic for someone of my age. In seeing all that I saw during those years in being involved in shopping centers - I thought to myself, everyone goes so broke just for the sake of the material. Now at the age that I am now - and I have to get back to bed, I will say that here is more to the true meanings much like what you say. I would rather do something that is to a next level of how I feel on the season is not spending...it's more about the quality and what it represents.
ReplyDeleteI woke up and I am certainly back to bed. Cyn you have the way as it seems to be something that is what really this season is all about.
Up for five minutes and have to get back to bed. The season of joy is more in what we give, and sometimes that is what we do get back in return!
Yawn - smiles....
You just HAD to get up and see what was on your blog..and I have been online reading emails but off to bed for me too..we will talk on Tuesday..night!
ReplyDeleteHi Jack. I had not been on here for weeks. Just dropping by to say hi this morning before running to work where I have spent a lot of time lately. Life is good, busy, and it is all good. Will return to writing after the Holidays I guess, when it gets a little quieter. Keep writing, we enjoy reading you.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you on again and sounding upbeat. Guess we are all settling in for our seasonal customs, whatever they might be. I am doing well, sharing some of my recent photos on my site and working too much. Hope all is well with you too, Jack.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely my friend---we can encourage and uplift one another to some extent, via our writes. Happy December to you...as the Holidays approach we can all find something about which we are grateful (blessed) and people in our lives (real and online) who make our lives richer.
ReplyDeleteOk as you know I am off right now I just arrived home from the gym and then meeting with two good freinds of mine. Sounds good to me as this is Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI was going to leave to see my folks as there is something going on there that I have no idea really what it is. My old good man, called me on my cell and then
my mother called me last night and yes as of today - Edmonton has snow and this is not stopping. So we were fortunate that we have had it as good as we have.
I was supposed to leave this morning but I called last night and with the forecast I figured not.
Danielle good to see you Bombardier has sent me again emails, but I am just taking my time with all that is going on. It's Christmass and I am not sure if you know that I was excused from my position....Thereafter as I have a feder clearance, I went to one other interview and right now seems that there is no one going to hire till after Christmas so right now it's time to just accept. You know I have always regarded you as a good friend and we have never met in person, but now it's winter....
ReplyDeleteA great day to you.
GA - I know your name but not going to say it as most all know that I have that respect. It snowed this morning for the first time. So it is better late than never. I have been through a kazoo with family and I was going to leave today. The roads are too bad and as well I think it's a time to stand steady....
ReplyDeleteSo that all said I wish you a great day there in Georgia - my gosh how I wish I had my dual citizenship!
In the last two weeks after training people, I was excused from my job. Thereafter I had two teeth done. I went to a place called Drumheller to meet with my friend and gain some understanding on all that had happened. My father called me and asked me to come there today's date, my mother called in destress that I don't do it. Thereafter I went for a late breakfast with two friends that work within what is called Nav Canada.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I am looking at the brighter sides of things......
Well? I am well...when you have been to other countries on an F18, you learn real quick what determination is and letting go of the condition factor.
Hey Jack !! you have snow !! thats great. We have no idea what a White Xmas could be like , but imagine it must be a very beautiful sight to wake to all that sparkling white - we are so used to the hot summer weather at Xmas with lots of BBQ's during that time. But we still have the Traditional Xmas dinner with all the trimmings, the heat does not stop that LOL. This time of year rolls around faster & faster as I get older mate * laughing * I wish you a very Happy Holiday Season Jack-- Hugs
ReplyDeleteSnow and it's now going to get cold here Bev. I just spoke with two friends that I value very much during breakfast. I just shoveled my and my neighbours driveway and yes it's that time of year and as you know (you do)...I never went to Saskatoon. I am going to stay put - I was up at 6am. Thereafter I went and met with two for brunch and we got this snow much later and this will be a good season regardless of what the outcome is with my family back home....
ReplyDeleteOh tell me about it. It seems like this year's just flown by... but then again, it would seem like it now, wouldn't it... now that we've almost finished the year... :D Seriously though, quite possibly one of the quickest years I've had. :D
ReplyDeleteyay for lettres sans frontiéres.
