That is a question I am throwing out there.
We all do need it and love. Love is not sex. It's something much more. It's like comparing a cheap poster for $15 dollars. Whereas Love, is much more encompassed, which I feel is like a "Rembrandt". Meanwhile I will follow the stars of venus and mars.
This can be a question for women and men. I can happen with some maturity or it is something that so many know what goes on sometimes online. I don't think that many men will make a mention, but for those that can state something in there own thoughts, I think that is a valid.
Some play games, some won't. I think that comes out and it's just something I wished to post. Why not. Yeah why not.
I thought I would place in a few videos if you feel it offensive please say so. Hutch was great as well and the recent person they have now.
Love is feeling as comfortable with the other person as you do with yourself.
ReplyDeleteVery thought provoking question and we may all have differing opinions on it's true meaning. Love, in my opinion is caring more for the needs of another person and striving to meet the needs in a very kind and gentle fashion. Sex is really a part of love when caring and committment are present but sex alone is no more than lust fulfilled. Animals can accomplish that feat.
ReplyDeleteBabies have needs
the Elderly have needs
Animals have needs ----I could go on and on but as long as a person strives to meet the present need encountered in a gentle and caring fashion then I am persuaded that person is manifesting true love.
I dunno @ Romantic love
ReplyDeleteLove is what I feel for my son... always keeping his needs ahead of my own without the thought of sacrifice or obligation, but pure joy in knowing I was there for him.
I am far too cynical about romantic love to answer the question of that side of love. Love of family and friends? Unquantifiable and undefinable. I just know it fills me, sometimes to the point that I tremble from the sheer abundance of feeling; especially when I look at my children.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I guess when I feal comfortable within myself when I'm around that certain someone... Trust and communication has alot to do with it too... And that works both ways... I need to have trust put in me, and they need to communicate... But all of that should come naturally if there is love there... There is so much involved Jack, it's difficult to just give a short answer to your question..:-).
ReplyDeletethere are so many different kinds of love, but for all those kinds of love there first has to be trust on both sides before it will be a lasting love- Then there is the love of family, that grows & keeps growing as your children/Grand & Great grands come along.you put their needs before your own always..Then there are your friends- you love them in a different kind of way, but it is still love. Real friends are always there for each other to help where ever possible, if they are in need of it. I could go on & on & still never be able to explain why such a tiny word covers so much deep feeling.
ReplyDeleteThe way I feel...
ReplyDeleteI know that is why I asked it, I thought it would be something that only one writes but I have talked to several and ironically recently this all came up with regards to Love...
ReplyDeleteI told you I had never blocked you Bev...There are many different kinds.
ReplyDeleteLOL - I think you know what I mean Mimi love is complicated.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind as it gives a different angle to everything. Don't worry I know what it is to be told that there is no love. If I believed that after the age of 21, I would have not been engaged to a girl from England, and then had a ex wife from NY that was spanish.
ReplyDeleteBut now is now.

Trust, communication...........si! Trust I feel is the biggest worry of so many. Yes I see many are short as this is a different quest put out there Peeks I mean between you and I we know all to well the romances that have taken place or the men that have pmed women. I have never done that on here. But mi no padre juanito! jajaja
ReplyDeleteYes you did tell me Jack
ReplyDeletehmmm
ReplyDeleteLove is like an old arm chair. You can curl up it at any time, troubled or happy and just feel comfortable as it has moulded over time just for you.
ReplyDeleteFor me "love" (between man and woman) is absolutely feeling comfortable to share anything and everything without judgement. Honesty and communication as well as giving each other space to be their own person.
Absolutely !!!! I wholeheartedly agree with that Dee''
ReplyDeleteGreat subject Jack, has got us all with our thinking caps on for sure .
ReplyDeleteSo true..
ReplyDeleteA deep and profound question that I dont think can be answered in a few simple words. So many ways to love and be loved. But most definitely we all need it in some form. It's the human nature in all of us. We love differently for different people... our family members, our friends, our significant other. So much is entailed... personality compatability, compassion, understandin, supportive, encouragement... it's endless. The physical is incorporated and intertwined. Without the basic foundation to build from (an old cliche' but oh so true) what do you have? Everyone has their own perception of what love means to them. But I think over all, we have the same general basics from which we form that perception. And no matter who we are, we all need it.
ReplyDeleteAgain authentic and very true...thank you.
ReplyDeleteI believe that each and every one of us knows what love is. It can occur between two or more individuals that bonds and connects them... It is an affectionate emotion that a person feels to people who in some ways have connected with each other such as love to parents, siblings, friends, spouses and children and even to animals and things that we deem so precious. It is love that brings a family together and it is through this feeling of love that brings harmony, joy, balance and peace to our society.
ReplyDeleteOn the romantic aspect of love between two lovers, love makes their world.....and such love could be endless if there is complete trust and understanding in a unified link of intimacy and interdependence in order to heal and restore the beauty of love when a storm comes along. Love can be binding if one cares for, responds to, and respects each other. If these other values don’t go hand in hand, then love fades away….Hence, sharing one’s love must really come from the heart; not just for the mere utterance of the words.
Do I sound like an expert on love? Lol….you know me quite well, my dear friend, but that is what I believe love is and should be. Yet I will walk alone stronger than ever.
Have a good day, Jack!
No you don't you sound like one that has experience.
ReplyDeleteWe all do....
