Within the Vantage of the Lens II

We all view things differently. If you ask five different people what they saw after something took place, all would see things from a different manner.  This weekend was something that was really of value. As each time I take my camera not only do I have the opportunity to take pictures but also at the same time it's like painting in a way.

I don’t know how to describe it but I have met people I have never known before. And it's something that is a hobby. I was reading how a blogging friend from Turkey paints. She had mentioned what she gets from her paintings and in seeing them, it's precious.  Much to me like photography, or just a person that enjoys it for what it's worth. Nothing more, and nothing less but much to gain.

It's a manner of relaxation not forced, just somperhaps but I think it's more than that. It's doing something creative where all things in time stop and you find some things from it. Much like music and other areas of creativity.

The weather was up to 35c, which I think is well within the 90s now. And now I have been walking I take it to the next step in a much different manner. Not like one or two years ago, but as it is now. How is that? It's from a vantage of understanding how to retain a placement of where I stand in all aspects of life. Everyone has a manner that they look at things, but at the same time there is a manner that people find some of there own time and enjoy some of the things that they love to do.

It’s different doing things in a certain way when your not used to it but at the same time if you slowly blend into it, or I mean if I blend into it there are some much to be enjoyed.

The people that you meet the in the mode with being creative and most of all being outdoors and I think that this would be an activity that with as much as I have walked would equal playing golf.

I ran into a gentleman and his wife and he was taking pictures along an area downtown. We were looking down from the walkway to these men playing cricket. And he went on telling me about the history of Edmonton and here again asked me where I was from. I am getting fairly used to that these days now when I have to give a verbal resume of whom I am, but fair enough I will talk to those people that you know are approachable and I love to learn more of my own country as before I entered back into it. I really did not have a clue or regard to what Canada was about and the history of the land.  But that is not the purpose of the vantages. The purpose is that it’s an activity that your getting out and your enjoying yourself as well there is some harmony within what your doing. I think the word for it is contentment. So on a Sunday that is the last one in the month of June it's been something most rewarding to have my little mini vacation. As I am doing right now. How we all try to squeeze in so much within the day. The watch came off today. I was not working with a time frame. I was just flowing with the day.

Aside of that it beats wearing a sleeveless jacket if you know what I mean. Gotcha! : )

  1. You are in a wonderful mood, and I'm just going to enjoy this good feel creative moments of yours as it is. The blending of serene photography and well paced journalistic writing, is very uplifting, Jack.

  2. BEAUTIFUL PIctures!!! and I mean REALLY beautiful!!!
I love the sequence from the first picture to the last.... it first gives a detailed symmetrical geometry of a beautiful work of art... then it shows how this form is only a corner of a much bigger more beautiful structure.... then it goes to another angle of the same structure... and then the last one Identifies or names it!!! PERFECT, jack.. if there is such... then this will definitely be it!!!

i love it... i love when people symbolize with pictures... it's something i can relate to.... and somehow understands...

  3. Your pictures are really nice Jack, but again, being on an angle is a huge distraction for me.

  6. I love the angles in taking pictures Jo. I do it's part of what makes up the vantage. I was out last night on a porch with my friend and we were talking about how I do this and he said the same thing. After explaining he knew what I meant. Look at my online image of myself - there is not much given and as well it's at a slight angle. I did not take it but I told my friend how I wish the image to be, not too close to allow the image of what surroundings I was in.

    Sorry for the distraction.

  7. And this was inspired by the paintings that one blogging friend from Turkey had done. Her nick name is Aclim. Her paints were something I could relate to with the manner the I work with a lens of a camera.

  8. Lovely photos Jack. I really love the intricate work and colours in the first photo. Despite the fact that they are in sequence, each one has its own character and appeal.
I'm glad to hear that you ditched the watch for your outing and had a great time immersing yourself in photographic art. ;-)
