Within this Day

Sunday was a day of finishing things off and tomorrow bring a few things to an end as far as a vehicle. It was the first day of Sunday and you would never guess that. Not due to the rain but the drastic change of climate from the day before. However tomorrow shall be much nicer.

There after getting things done it was heading to this restaurant, called "Route 99".  It’s one of those restaurants that everyone knows about that lives in this city.  Looking at it from the outside you would think that it was the worst place to eat in town.  When you enter inside it’s an entirely different to what one would think from the outside.  Memorabilia from the 1950s galore.  Coupled with people just enjoying and passing time with friends and enjoying a late breakfast or lunch.

As far as the weather is concerned it was cold, and wet.  As I was out with my friend I had to get a picture or two and just show what it looked from over here.  You would never believe it was summer but then again just yesterday it was much warmer.

So I took a couple shots, as my primary goal was to get a few things finished off.

The sun didn’t shine but the worth within the day and what all came to be will lead into tomorrow.  At a temperature of only 12c / 50 f. That is rather cold for this time of year but it’s irrelevant as I believe the compass is much more clearer.

Tomorrow will be getting a few things done and driving off with transportation. Now this will be my last car that I buy for the next two years! My friend and I took it for a drive and tomorrow after 3pm I will have it and it will be great to have "wheels" again.

My thought for today is regardless of what takes place, never go backwards think forwards.

  8. G'day Jack,
Hey the "Route 99". brings back memories when it was fun to go to a restaurant, for me anyway, sounds a step up from the Golden Arches you used to mention a while back hahahaha, you are having a typical Melbourne day there, with just one more sleep till you will have your new wheels, then there will be no holding you back....... Grinning for you here

  11. And this is today and making calls and arrangements for insurance and so forth - yes I am a kid and I am thrilled. The only things is what I have to give up with this old clunk of a mini van - the cd player as it's going to the aution as me and my friend ummm - well - ummm- he thinks he can make it too the auction with the van. (Kinda of grinning as he does not know how bad....), but then again - I have to test it and head down and see if it can get me to the only nearby bank called the CIBC, that might be "Route Danger". As Jackie don't want to be stuck in traffic with a lemon.

    The day does shine!!!!

  12. Thank you as it's much earlier here in my time zone and I took my laptop out for the fist time in a long time and am in the living room just looking for cereal for thought and a cup of coffee and then I have to call my insurance broker. I hope she does not break me. As here in this province of Canada as like the United States everything is privatized.

The thought is within in the morning so with all due respect I do say good morning here from the place where truly the sun shines from 5am till 11am at night. As well I thank you for all the radio shows and thoughts that you send my way.
