We all have our countries that we are proud of. Having lived two countries I am not comparing the two but Canada is a great country that I am proud that I live in. I think we are a nation that economically is one of the soundest.
I feel fortunate that I live in a country as such. I think that Canada as it celebrates it's birthday tomorrow. Is a young but very smart countrie that has always be of value as a nation as others.
We are a mixture of so many cultures and yet in some manner we are a country of grace.
The picture about is where I moved from it's a city called Saskatoon that I find to be what I call home along with a city in the USA to some extent. As time goes on I have found that I have learned more regarding Canada, by way of my father and as well by way of talking with people offline that see Canada as something that has no image, but deep within our nation, we are a society as mentioned that is one of several ideals and as well ethnicities. The flag of Canada represents two things and the maple leaf does as well. We are what is considered a crown nation of England - yet we are continually becoming something much more.
What Canada is in one word for is sound. It's a very sound nation that is unfolding with more with the future than with it's past. Yet it has a history coupled with a tremendous globalized mannerism.
Happy Canada Day tomorrow Jack. From the pictures I have seen, Canada is very beautiful. I wouldnt mind going visiting someday. GOD bless you this evening.

Good morning to you Canada. Peace and prosperity always :)
ReplyDeleteYes this is July 1st, and we are two nations that have a foundation in history from the British. One evolved and one revolted. I wish to write on July 4th as I have lived a good portion of my life in America, but this is Canada and we as a nation stand proud with what we are doing towards the future. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI am listening to this and you know Mitch they are still alive. They were as are several other entertainers. I remember while living in the states and my best friend thought they were the greatest. Randy Bachman still today does many interviews - small tours. Thanks much.
ReplyDeleteA trip back in time :) From Canada to Wales all the best.

Well was downtown and back without a camera - several parades are happening and all is well. It's rather different when your two good friends work shift work as air traffic controllers.
ReplyDeleteIronically it's a very silent day...even in a city as large as Edmonton here. I placed the picture of Saskatoon as right now at this time it looks just like that and is a great city - the largest growing city in all of Canada right now.
I don't know why you can't post to mine, Jack. That's really weird. I did see your comments on my Picture Perfect page tho, and thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteG'day Jack,
ReplyDeleteAll that love their country as well as being happy and free there are indeed the lucky ones, from one lucky one to another , happy Canada day
