When you doubt yourself then that is the moment that your whole life is in danger. Perhaps not suicidal but a catalyst which causes lethal chemical changes.
I remember seeing a documentary on Michelangelo called "The Titan". Probably the most impressive artist of his time. He was quite stubborn, but what power he brought to his titanic projects!
Malcolm when there is that doubt or trepedations which go far further for a prolonged period I do believe that it certainly can be that catalyst. Now it's within a good energy and one which is most enjoyable as of recent.
I never saw it Doug but how I can relate as it's within that realm of that thought of we are human beings doing. One can't do all things at the same time and I believe that within the past two years I have learned something which is a process within it self yet. Now for myself I am slowing down the gears and rendering that cadence.
Faith has gotten me thru more than most get thru... also we are in times of finding our truth deep within us and living it. Not easy for many because if we think about it we do "live" for others..pleasing them, doing for them, etc. Time to look at a lot of our own patterns and then have faith in who we are and act on it.
You certainly do have a good handle on this. A change within patterns is not as easy as one would thing as we are habitual in nature. Yet if Pavlov could train old dogs to do new things within his studies and experiments within the art of conditioning - I believe with that old saying of the character Forrest Gump - "Simple is and Simple does".
And of course for every action there is a reaction...
being a hypnotherapist it is my job to help people see and especially feel new ways of doing things to improve their lives... It can be simple... it's about release and we are in times when the techniques for helping us do this are becoming more recognized and plentiful.
I wish I had my router as this is much slower but yeah one does need faith as well as an inspiration combined with a good determination. (You sound good singing - kidding Pamela).
yes ... as my Michaeangelo* aptly puts it :)

ReplyDeleteIt was my morning thought and the quote seemingly fit well.
ReplyDeleteSummer I find that words and thoughts placed into action are all within that belief factor.
