Upon arriving home after a good review medically I was very surprised that this cousin of mine had the type of heart attack of which he had. Sometime within those that you do care about there is that reflex. My cousin I have wrote on before.
I am a little more informed yet it did take me by a big surprises as a massive heart attack is rather serious when he arrived into Wisconsin with a few of his horses. He had this heart attack but his wife called and within five minutes paramedics where there it was a large surprise and not the type that you take so lightly.
Apparently this happened just a few days ago I did jump the gun on this as after I spoke with my doctor after my physical - I knew how serious it probably is and this is where those which are very close to you are of value. I thank you to all that responded on this as I have been focusing on the good and this literally came out of the blue. I have made some calls and only recieved the answering services. So I feel that I don't know all the details and when Louise his wife is ready I will recieve a call back - yet I do admit that those whom are close to you do effect you as you wish to know everything - yet I believe in not pushing it.
I don't wish to thrive on this however I do hope this cousin of mine does make a full recovery as he is up at 4am and well he is a very decent cousin to say the least. Right now he is still in Wisconsin and after whatever they are doing there he will be transported back to either the town of which he lives or here.
Again I do thank you and there are other things which have happened on the positive side but how areas such as health can take one for a spin. So I thank you and I thank you for the thoughts with regards to this cousin of mine.
Again I do thank you....
Jack
* I just recieved a call a while ago from Delvin's younger brother Rob and Delvin and Delvin shall be coming home on Monday via a flight. Out of all my cousins I thought of Delvin as a great person I did a story on him as well as his father and sometime things happen when you least expect. Life goes....
no words of thanks ... for a friend
ReplyDeleteyou take extra care of your health too ...
tight hugs, Jack
:)
I wish your cousin the best of luck. He is lucky to have his heart attack at this day and age. Hopefully, they will be able to aid him back to good health.
ReplyDeleteIn my father's time by the time they realized he was having a heart attack it was already too late.
I will pray for the best.
I'm glad your cousin is recovering, a good news for my night, thank you, Jack.
ReplyDeleteUm beijo! boa noite pra vocĂȘ.
I just recieved a telephone call from his younger brother and he is doing well but things shall change for him and he is flying back here into Canada effectively Monday - so this is good as family is family. Thank god!
ReplyDeleteYes, thanks God! you're in good shape, too. Thanks God! again.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome, Jack. Many have expressed their concerns and prayers.
ReplyDeleteGood to know.
ReplyDeleteI wish your cousin all the best, I hope he makes a full recovery quickly.
ReplyDeleteA massive heart attack will certainly change one's perspective on life. Wow, thankfully your cousin is fairing will, that he is still on this earth, and is heading home. There will be recovery time, for sure. Is he close in age to you?
ReplyDeleteThanks Grammy this is the day after and I didnt think that it would have the impact it did - till I was made more aware
ReplyDeleteof what is all entailed with this type of heart attack....thank you for your prayers.
Michelle I had a return call from his younger brother. There is nothing like hearing another cry and this did hit
ReplyDeleteme harder than I expected I was fine till later last night and then I was thinking of how this recovery shall be as
with a massive heart attack - I am not negative but I think he shall be giving up the farming as well as he does
have one hired man whom works with him so perhaps ---------- I don't know how this shall work out - that is
really how or why this hit so hard as I think he will not be the same man that he was before after this. Ironically,
I recieved word one week after it all as my elder cousin Suzette - Delvins' older sister along with Delvins wife wished
to wait and see - and then I go word from a call from my mother. I am an optimist here and today I have booked off the
morning as I have a few things I have to tend to now and so be it.
I believe his recovery shall be a very very slow one unfortunately.
Yet thanks...
Faye don't you know it is (in refererence to a massive heart attack of this nature). He lives on the family homstead near a town called Yorkton and he is 61 I believe but a slight person yet a very fit person apparently he has had stints placed in and there were three arteries which something was done.
ReplyDeleteExcuse my writing as I am on my laptop but Saskatoon and a city called Regina are the main cities here which handle the prominent
situations as there is no recovery unit back in Yorkton - so I think he will probably be flown into Regina as it's within his district.
I'm glad things are much better than you feared. Hope your cousin's recovery is swift.
ReplyDeletehugs
ReplyDeleteTo be honest Frani I nor the rest of the family really does know until we see him. So it's been a trail of sorts.
ReplyDeleteYet he is here on Monday. Again a thanks. Shall know more upon his arrival to the hospital here called RUH.
Thanks Sheree - I never thought this would have impacted me the manner that it has but as of this morning feeling much
ReplyDeletebetter - it's the not knowing that really does get to one as well as I was not raised alongside my relatives as I was in New York
as a kid. But he is a good brother really he is a brother and I know now when I go and visit my folks why they have been
so depressed of recent.
Hugs back as this did take a toll on my nerves and I don't think he shall be farming nor able to do this passionate hobbie again.
And that has been something of which we all have been involved in near or far.
