Hang on and if you Wish

By link or otherswise you are more that invited to place within a song. It's hard to write within many languages but I do still maintain music does make the world go around (although I have had some that feel that music is of just one place - excusez it's not) My late uncle was head of the Chicago symphonic enterarage from my mothers' side.

I have tried to do this in a freelance collaboration - lets see how this goes and feel free to add if you wish.

  4. gosh ................. it's Paul Stanley!!!
The lyrics of the song to be honest is so hunting. Beautiful and lovely

    sorry Jack ... ;)

I want to see him still singing his music. That would be an experienced worth looking to.

  5. I don't wish to do much of one band..............

And for me the is the last for this eve with Kiss ( I think )

  6. We are one.
If am goin' to read between the lines, i would presumed am talking to Paul. And Initiative stain and Paul is but one ... but that's impossible.

... so am going back to Jack. You love them, the band. I couldn't believed they could come up with those lyrics. The way they dressed its as if they are just bunch of hippies paradiing the big dome. It turned up they weren't.

  7. Cheap Trick
Which was an ensemble of great musicians most thought were a one time wonder.
As when they had the hit with "Ain't that a Shame" a live recorded album at the
Budokan in Toyko.....then they went on to do three albums with this semi hit which
was tremendous and another called the "Dream Police". Who knows where
they are today but again I am not that old and these were lyricists as
well as a musical band...these guys were a good different. Without not doubts.

    ~ The Flame ~

  9. I love the share of music I do and amongst all these guitar players if I may add they all respected
a man by the name of Les Paul whom came out with predominatly the best guitars.

    ReplyDelete
  10. So wonderful how a man could play a guitar so well that is seems its speaks ...

  11. The movie segment was filmed within the Alberta Hoodos. As I didnt think
I picked up the movie segment of this.
    Oh well...

  12. Was one which wanted to go with KISS without makeup but much like
Paul McCartney I don't think Paul Stanley wished for another well
you know what I mean but Sambora did do his own solo and then
later Jon Bon and Richie came back together and they have done
    very very well.

  13. c'mon and love me ~ am seeing a younger version of .... singing, ok ... let's forget it. i might just be dreaming of the impossible. loving the group. They looked made up but the gentlemanliness stayed with them along side.

  15. A prayer or two won't do any harm. And it's nice to hear if we could incorporate a thing or two in each every album. luv it! :)
and it's inspiring too,the lyrics and the melody ...

  18. It would be too cool to see Bowie in Concert ..........
Mind you it would with many of that of our own
choices. Bowie is really a Renaissance which
    goes much further than many.

  19. ... Alberta hoodos ~ ihink you have a pictures taken on that place, that you've posted. hope am right there ...

  20. David Bowie did not have a tremendous life he had hardships a brother which was
placed away yet aside of his family and after the "LSD" era, seemingly he
is much better now than in his earlier days. I love to see that element and hear it
as well - as he can write.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I lean on sweet mellow music most of the times and some Jazz and some slow soul rock. David Bowie is a welcome sight on your blog, Jack

    ReplyDelete
  22. Bowie is old yet so is U2 :)

There is still depth in the songs when you listen to the lyrics

    as well...........

  23. Here is a favourite of mine by Rush.

    ReplyDelete
  24. For the starlights or morning lights what is your favs? Huh?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks Ericka :) They are a tremendous band up there with them all.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, trees need sunlight or thinking of morning light through the trees.
Anyway, it is what I like. Hopefully, you will too.

    ReplyDelete
  27. You are very welcome.
I am glad you like them. Not everyone does. They are an acquired taste for some. Same with Bowie. I have heard either you love Bowie or you hate him.
    I personally love him.
Did you know that Rush opened for Kiss? Interesting bit of trivia.

  28. What I have been finding within the last month is that there are
so many now which wish to return back to this era when it
comes to rock but each band, musician is and was different.

Most can't do it some can...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Each bands has their own kind of sound and ways of delivering their musics. But it all still falls in the same category ~ MUSIC~

And the fortunate will stay long after the curtain's gone and some don't. We will only listen once or twice. Luv the groove. There's something on it that gives a song a life. For it is in the treatment and the groove that will speaks of it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Forget the lyrics but this inspired myself as well as two from Syracuse, NY when
my older brother had this band of his. We didnt know the lyrics at the time but
each summer we had a nieghbor get together and as soon as we heard the
beginning of this very song we all ran to it and so many other kids as well.
Not kidding it's called Rebel Rebel and well it's Bowie during that age at time.

The new sound of this and manner he does it is tremendous.
    Yo gusto mucho!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Rebel Rebel me and one within the studio did some changes with again with a bit of fun.
For me it's the Bass, the Drums and the manner of the guitars and then
the lyrics.............yesterday there was one that you just knew was a waste of time but
if there is one remake I would love to do is "C'est la Vie". I kid you not.

    ReplyDelete
  32. yep remembered this song from the previous blog. I told you so Jack, the groove will carry the music. This particular song brought laughter to me last night. honestly. It has the lyrics and the groove.

The KISS song has that beautiful lyrics and it has the groove that would carry a song that etched to the ears and hearts of the listener.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I shall get one more in here I so wish I had this cd but not yet.

    ReplyDelete
  34. true, the bass, the drums and the lead guitars would carry the song and there should be that groove ... 'the ~i still love you by KISS has it. Am sure it will be love by todays genre. Such a beautiful song and the lead guitars carried it and the groove, there's something in it.

  35. For me a band I met when I was young and they were from Britian and had this hit
called..............."Photography" it was really about Maryln Monroe. The as well as most
artist went through something and then came back.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Two more and I am finished lol how can you tell I used to DJ while within the first years of
    university. :)

At the end tomorrow if those of you wish to pick or add other of your favs by all means but from I am going to add three more and then call it a night I thinky. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. That's the reason why you seems to be adept when it comes to music ... my innermost dream to be. I wouldn't trade for anything. To be a discJ. lol

    ReplyDelete
  38. There's somethiing in Manilyn Monroe that sometime when i look at my face am seeing her face. kiddo' laughter please :)

  39. The nearest to that of being the modern day Beatles and
they know it. But yet they have the following since days of
aid to Africa and the drummer is the head and manager of
the band and I do really like them. But so often I find them
to be a modern day Beatles. But so be it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. An album which came out and when it did most all thought at first it was
KISS but it was a group that came out with an album which was pure rock
    and they were from Australia...

    ReplyDelete
  41. cool. it amazes me how music takes us to that level. From wonderful world which is a bit on the slow typed to the ' Beautiful Day by U2. Both speaking of an inspiring days.

    ReplyDelete
  42. am not familiar with AC/DC ... i missed that

    ReplyDelete
  43. Shania Twain is lovely and i like her songs

    ReplyDelete
  44. Not easy as she has a new album I guess. So this is back to the oldies of rock but Van Halen did have it's time.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yet in all of the rock era I have yet to see the likes of anyone like ----------------- KISS I do mean that.
    Most others were copy cats.

    ReplyDelete
  46. So I suppose I shall do one kiss song on here a live one and I hope you don't mind.

    ReplyDelete
  47. the the original when they were the largest thing along with Peter Frampton
    in 1976...

    ReplyDelete
  48. Take off from Diana Ross yet Beyonce is an Icon.
There is nothing one can say bad about her sure she is
within a new era but she started so young and I saw
her entire travelling "empire" when they were here and
see is really the Queen Diva right now I guess or possibly
the opposite would be Lady Gaaa gaaa. ( Ouch )

    ReplyDelete
  49. Beyonce's 'Sweet Dreams' is a lovely song. The only thing that made it bad is the carrying video, it made it cheap to some.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Chaka Khan is an up beat typed of song that makes your fingers play along.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Rush is a band that came out of Ontario and like the Guess Who or Bachman Turner Over Drive
made it within America and with Rush they have a following which this video does not do them justice.
But they really had a sound of their own. Jazz and rock. I have never heard a band like Rush within
my life. Geddy Lee still produces out of Toronto and they really came to be comfortable without
the need to be on stage and have a following of which I can only compare to those which are on
Apple computers as it's a very dedicated fanship which they have then and more so today.

    Thanks Erika.

    ReplyDelete
  52. She used to be in a band called Rufus - always was listening to what my brother had and the song I think was "Tell Me Something Good". I was young really!

    Yep I never forget ...

It was the first time I hear a "voice box" in vocal recording... man this is old but if .....some artist did it. Hmm.

    ReplyDelete
  53. There's something funny about the sounds of that recording Jack or is it my netbook that's doing it. Anyways, it's welcome song ...

    ReplyDelete
  54. :) your still awake ... have a rest. A blissful night to you out there Jack :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. A fine friend of a friends whom came from a very small town within western Canada and is now performing....his name is ....Miles. Too ironic as I never would have know that
he was still within the "music league".

    ReplyDelete
  56. His name is Miles and from a very small town he has done many projects as today was the first time by way of my friend's wife this is a chap I would have never known this till todays' date yet I had met him in his formative years.

    ReplyDelete
  57. a country soul music. His voice is nice. First time i heard that song 'starlight' love the title.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hi yeah I knew him way back and when I met with my friend Jim today
I was so surprised that he has come to where he is at and truly this is not
    a hoax.

He was much different before but this is good stuff - my opinion. I have yet to
recall the small town he was from. I can hear the country or rootsie along with
the rock of which he was much apart. He lives in LA now from what I have
    learned. Very neat.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Jack ... it sounds a bit sad. But nevertheless both conveyed an everlasting affection. lovely actually and a beautiful song.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I am just looking over his data base as well as we speak he does yeah I know. Yet this does amaze me as to what he has done since I last saw him years ago.

This is no hoax and kudos to him as so many never had made it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Have to make a call on this to verify.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Then Todd whom was apart of the originals but all to neat as he has his own blog as well.

I have to look more over this as it's different as they were of another style but...........to neat.

    ReplyDelete
  63. :) not a cold Indian summer nah ... but a warmth forever together, Jack! laughs* a good morning ...

    ReplyDelete
  64. They had this band called, "Age of Electric"......shall see later as
I was rather taken that they were still around -------good morning.
