  7. I can imagine it would be nice sitting in the pews. The window lets so much light into the church.

  16. Pam, this church is called the Church on 3rd Avenue, the exact same one was built at the same time in Chicago - not kiddding.

  21. Stained Glass is such amazing artwork.

  22. It's this church and the architecture of it really was what really turned me on to photography Mike.

  23. I can truly see why. I'd say you made a really good purchase in this camera Jack. Coupled with your artistic eye, the two of you seem perfectly suited to each other.

  30. Huge. And those arches showed how beautiful and elegant this church is while maintaining the sacredness of the place. Lovely.

  33. Great pic.
Like the one of the stained glass windows too.
Nice use of lighting, a challenge for some cameras,
and people behind the view taking the shot.

  34. Though available to us all, I like how you're making use of the audio feature.
Considering how little seen it used, it still looks innovative.

  35. Thanks Curt, as glad that I got this done and have something which works. The view of that whom
takes the a picture is much like an artist as I see it and within artists there are a variety of
what and how people do it. Ansel was not like Picasso, but it's an art within it's own manner.

  36. from my italian vision, this is all so .. american (this right must be so).

    ReplyDelete
  37. Where I live in Canada has always been thought of as being very American. But Andy these where just a few photographs
I took to see how the lens worked. I could well imagine from Italy how it would look this way as it is.

  38. I have always loved the architecture and ironically I find it either in historical sites or within places of faith. It's ironic but literally very true.

  40. After this week, lets see where this goes. Julie, since I was in Flushing Meadows, I literally enjoyed this. I knew that I had so much time. And then came home...but it shall be fun.

  41. Summers it's the first place I took pictures and it's always those harps they have always been something I come back too as the texture is something that came to me as being much like art.

  43. A fellow 'acrophobic' ? Fear of heights too?
God! Has plagued me since, well, now come to think of it, when a child, I'd climb trees no problem.
Something happened since then I guess.
Heights bug the hell out of me now. lol

  44. what type new camera that u are using?

    ReplyDelete
  45. It's a Canon, I shall get to it as it's not a huge camera just a small one but over all it's does a good job and look forward to doing more with it within the future. As the sales person agreed to go back to a month ago when it was on a featured sale. When he did that I then decided to go with it.
