As they say a direct conversation will take place tonight with 75,000 people but as well millions within United States and millions outside of the United States. Yes we all care.
Ironically 1960, John F. Kennedy gave his acceptance speech at the Los Angeles Coliseum. It featured a circular stage that Kennedy took enormous advantage of, a young, attractive candidate on a stroll among the voters. Kennedy also opened the event to the public. Anybody could come and 80,000 did.
These are different times but in a manner "these are the times". As we walk into what is the next way of life pending several things. I will say myself that I am all for Borak. He is not perfect but I hate to use his own slogan - it's time for a global change. I believe in that and I feel that he is not the anything but the person he claims to be. This is not a push with words and as well I created a small audio on freedom.
Your choice is your choice, but think before you make that choice. As many around the world as well are watching as they certainly did not enjoy all that came with the prior administration. I was asked regarding China. Well, what happened within the last eight years that so much was lost on so many areas? Mistakes are made and now the cards lay within one nation that was the leader and super power of the world. Peace, integrity, intelligence, difference, change,
If you reside within the great United States - THESE ARE THE TIMES. And you we will never see them like this again. I know my father would have never believe that this day would have come.
Meanwhile the world watches...

Yes, we watch and wait.
ReplyDeleteI don't really follow the news of Barack- but I think personally, he's got the charisma of being a genuine leader

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about this as well. Here's the same- campaign elections always cost a lot, and one I heard the candidate lost, he got so stressful that he's gone to mental hospital at the end.
ReplyDeleteI think this is complicated - poverty is everywhere! but people use billions and billions dollars ( or whatever currency you may want to name) for the sake of campaigns?
I enjoyed this post, I have no words to accurately describe what this means to so many ..again I thank you for your thoughts..
ReplyDeleteWe shall wait and see...but I believe that the act of electing is important and in no means am I a spokesman for Borak. I just think he and Biden represent change.
ReplyDeleteHi Luluone, I would take it that your not from United States and looking at it from an outside vantage. Within America this is the way things are done. And it's not all that bad when you look at the manner in which people are so passionate in what their beliefs are. To be a leader it takes much I would think. And your right how much of this money could be assisting things within USA. But this is not an ordinary campaign. I watched the entire speech after I wrote this and talked to a few friends two here in Canada and one in Florida - not online - and my best friend in Florida explained how important this was and why. Most importantly, I feel that Borak Obama along with Biden is a sound mixture for the future - He is not Martin Luther King, He is Borak Obama along with Biden. It seems to be a good mix. AS well a new era.
ReplyDeleteI have gotten five negative private messages with regards to politics.
ReplyDeleteBut this is not about anything other than my own point of view. We do have that freedom in a democracy. Differences are fine the "Don't get me started", I feel is fine as I have my own views and each one has there own. That is what freedom is about. Unless there is something I am missing. I wrote this two hours before he spoke. Secondly I am not an extremist nor have I slander Senator McCain.
But these ARE THE TIMES....IT'S A TIME OR WORTH.
ReplyDeleteIt is your own blog and you can express your opinions. Politic is a sensitive subject, however that is part of freedom of speech. To each their own opinion and to each a chance to write about it on their own blog. I look forward to the day when leaders will be able to sell their worth without the need to depreciate another. Let them prove their own value by their actions, not just mere words. I have listened to the speech yesterday with attention and am looking forward to the next weeks to see what will come out of it all. A good morning to you Jack! It feels good to sip a coffee on this leisure Friday although the sun is hiding here.
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised that you got some strong opinions, others forget that you are entitled to your's as well. Politics and religion, sometimes we have to agree to disagree. There is no "right" answer, only opinions.
ReplyDeletejust call me Lulu
ReplyDeleteand yes here I am in Indonesia
I'll wait and see - do you know that we have Borak Obaman fans clubs organized by his friends here when he was elementary as he was studying here only some years in elementary - well. that's what I read, and haven't read in depth yet
He is the new era I hope
So true as there is no right or wrong. And we do have that right to have our own views. Otherwise we would not be writing.
ReplyDeleteI know - and freedom of speech is something that everyone does. A good evening to you as I just came back to this within the evening.
