It’s a joy to see the various writings as I have over the past time. I have come to understand what the meaning of life is. And that meaning is all within each and every one of us. We blog and we write in a manner that only gives a portion of whom we are, we are within the era of a stream that never is complacent. We thrive to do things. We enjoy to write, and we enjoy to give our own opinions on things. This to me is what it’s about.
I have seen several people and know many from times before this multiply. And the one thing that I will never turn away from is being me. As I once mentioned within a quote – “I can’t touch you…” as your not near. But within the areas of life, this is one element of life that now and then there is something that touches someone in a meaningful manner. Each of us has our own agendas, our own lives and yet we embark on our own thoughts or posts. Perhaps we don’t share as much but from within my contacts I can certainly say that within the balance of going my path I do share. And I have been touched by a variety of people. Regardless of gender, regardless of religion, and regardless of where we come from.
Being here counts. Being kind and considerate counts. Getting through each day without seriously offending anyone or hurting anyone counts. Having the latest technology does not count as much. Sorry, I am not a downer on technology. In fact, I probably have pretty much the same amount as you. For myself I don’t rely on it, I find it interesting to write. Nothing more or less.
With all this technology doing something that is useful with one’s life does count. Regardless of what that may be. As each of us have our own way and that is something to be respected. We might not all connect in the exact same manner but that is how we learn different thoughts, tastes, and aspects of life. For myself focusing on what is important is a code of life. Making the positive changes that ensure that there is something good that can take place within this realm of technology. We are awake we are not asleep. I am certain that we are not lucidly living. A term that is very relative to what has meaning within the balance of these times.
There are some things that are important in life and a whole lot of things that are not as important. It doesn’t take too much discrimination to work out which is which. And there are a whole lot more things in that don’t count, that are not as important. Which comes down to choices that we make in life. I’m certainly not saying we can’t have trivia within our lives. For myself I don’t find the trivia as important. Watching the latest reality show on television isn’t my cup of tea.
Nurturing thoughts in an authentic manner seems for me what counts.
As there is a gain in what we read and what we see.
I so agree with you on this..When I blog it's like it's ME..what my thoughts and opinions are...and I do think we all connect..because here we are letting go of our feelings and sharing it with people we trust and believe in..It is a part of life to share what is going on in your world and for you to read what is going in someone else's world to..It's just part of human nature! We have so many twists and turns in our daily lives but we always come back to our blogs and share so much of ourselves and I think that is what makes blogging so beautiful..to see and hear how one another feels about this and that..and yes we all have our disagreement on a blog but we all seem to understand that this is what that person believes and this is what I believe and we have the upmost respect for one another.
ReplyDeleteI went up stairs and came back down and I wrote this and it truly is how I feel. I believe in that so much. I write in an authentic manner. And it's really coming from within. I know that everyone has there own ways but I really am most interested in people that have the ability to share. It's an expression, it's so much, sometimes I feel I am so mistaken unless I talk or chat but I do believe that it's all within the writes. I don't believe in postures, but I believe in the value that we can be and can do. I suppose that sounds spiritual but it's part of what I would call the human element cyn. It's an enjoyment. I don't watch much television in the evenings. I will usually capture the evening outside and come down where I have my one main frame and write. I express, I write out thoughts. It's something that is of worth.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is one of those things that is impossible to explain to someone who's never done it---or doesn't enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a stream of consciousness---and we all enter into it with our daily thoughts and writes. It's a good thing---for me and I've benefited from the sharing and friendships made as a result of that sharing. As you say, determining what is and what isn't of value in our lives is a quick enough study (at this stage.) What's shared here and those who share it are a joy in my life
Take care...August is rushing past!!!
"It's a stream of consciousness". Interesting Ga...to have a few, is quality. I know you recall when I was in y360 and it was big. I when I moved, during my move - while I went on a trip Y360 never worked again for me. But as a night cap it was something to say the least. But within this it is a share as you say. And I could not be more to that one comment - a stream of consciousness. As it really can be. August is running past but September could be a great month. Even here. I am not sure if you call it an "Indian Summer" but that is a term often used. Within the words there is value, I don't know how to describe when you know someone without knowing them, but I have known you in a sense for some time. Hence we share. Why not? Your Ying and Yang of Seasons where something that was tremendously interesting to look at.
ReplyDelete"Being here counts. Being kind and considerate counts. Getting through each day without seriously offending anyone or hurting anyone counts"
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful words of advice my friend and ones that I try my earnest to live by. I love your post here...it reflects some of my own thoughts here about blogging; why I do it, why others do it. When I gather all my thoughts about blogging..the answer is the same in the end...the connection with each other is priceless.
Good morning Jack. As you mention, we share parts of who we are, our thoughts and beliefs and through it all, we learn from each other. Some writings bring a reflexion, others just make you smile or even laugh and it is all good. Friday is here and I am thankful for that. Nice picture and blog my friend.
ReplyDeleteGrabbing a morning coffee brb.
ReplyDeleteThe connection that is forged here is genuine, otherwise what would be the purpose of responding to someone's thoughts if there was no interest. Good post, Jack. Have a good weekend. Lyn
ReplyDeleteIt counts but what stand still in my mind - I just awoke and it's 6am here (smiling and sipping) is what GA mentioned. "It's a source of consciousness. And you can do so many things and above all I am not sure what "premiemium is like but I do enjoy this but I don't live by it, it's a portion of what my life is. In all stages and in all walks of it. You have a blog that I find have so many people. I would love to have so many as cyn does, as it's all to interesting but probably due to my nature and misunderstanding of wording - sometimes the words don't come out write, but they but all that I can do - is my best. Today is one of the last days I have to myself before my friend comes home and I have several things that I need to get done. But then again I ask myself what are my priorities. And I am not a kid but I know what they are and a few have and would understand what I mean. Priceless is what it is, as true authentic shares of life are much more than money they are as what I believe GA mentioned. It's an ideal, non perfect - personal source.
ReplyDeleteI found one that I had taken and attached is one of Ghandi - so there is two within this believe it or not. This time I can say good morning. I don't know how many do it when they wake up and get on here but I wanted to have a "coffee talk". Why not. So often I will just forget about the time. If I focus too much on time and all that goes with it I find that I have lost what my true intentions are and time takes over my priorities. If that makes sense. The picture is riverside. A good day Danielle.
ReplyDeleteLyn I have one tooth that needs an oral surgeon - as I found out later in the day - so for a week it's ambesol till I have it taken care of. One a one to ten it's about 5 for pain. I changed doctors. If all goes well as planned I am meeting with a Aikido collegue of mine here as he is a prof. at the science building. So I have yet to plan the day but I will make it work - needs and wants is my contemplation as I wish to buy a new camera. Should I?
ReplyDeleteA great weekend to you Lyn.
I hope the weather thare is alright. I know that each part of your state is being hit by storms. And not ordinary ones. Fingers are crossed for you.
This is so true, with each blog entry we give a little piece of who we are if we decide to, I really enjoy this mode of communication and sharing of something I really love to do, write. We can't all connect that's right, but at least we learn from each others differences and appreciate them. At the same time we do connect in many positive ways and many times get to know what others think of what we write, that I love.
ReplyDeleteThank you for expressing what's deep inside of you.
