Computers can be....

A handful. I thought I had everything reinstalled on this computer and then yesterday the entire NEW MACHINE went on the blink when I came to it around supper time last night. I thought I would leave it on. But I usually always do turn it off.

I would do it right now but it's the end of the day and I will get around to it.  All this new technology has come about and here if you want to be able to fix your own computer you have to learn all new things about it. So I have a few things that I have to install on it still.

But tomorrow is Monday and it's another week. It's hard to believe that there is only one week left in August. I don't know how things seem to go by so quickly. Enjoy the week ahead and after reading a few blogs earlier. I really find it amazing of what can be done on this. Some people as I can see have this "Premium Multiply". What does it cost and is it actually that much better to the ordinary version?

  1. seems as though we are of the same boat, Jack.

I am suspecting my antivirus software to be corrupted or infected. I had it updated last night and the autorun virus alarm just doesn't stop appearing on my desktop and it's getting a bit pesky. I tried to do system restore but the system just wouldn't damn be restored to yesterday's settings no matter how many times I tried running it. I am using NOD 32 by the way. I might have gotten the virus through my digital camera's memory card.

  2. Salam!

I've not had any serious problem with our PC.
But as you said, computers are independent creatures which sometimes do not obey any rule! ;)

  4. Good morning Jack! Computers allow us to communicate. In that aspect, they are a blessing for many people living away from their loved ones. To my brother who`s son lives in China, to my friend at work who`s family live in Europe, a girl at work who`s lover lives in United States... priceless, for the rest... patience and Visa lol!

Good luck with setting it up again and a fruitful Monday to you.

  5. What is nod's 32 Jean? I have one main meeting today and right now I am finishing off placing my main frame software on. And then bridging my laptop to my bedroom. But I just wanted to get my office suite on this morning. I use Office 2000 believe it or not. I have Office 2007 but I don't care much for it.

  6. Yes they are Ali! I think I should have just went with an Apple computer this time rather than what I see happening with a computer that did cost some good money. We shall see I am still on my warranty.

  7. Blogs drive us mad at times. LOL. But that is where there is balance :). I just like to know that I can turn on the lights in the house, I can turn on the stereo, the television, the stove, and the computer. Oh yeah and my car! A great day to you Lyn.

Well there is a telephone as well. I just thought about that in the manner or communications. Well it's time to get off here. I woke up at nearly 8am - I have to get going.
