Just being conceptual
I just took my camera and did not go to far and I found some things that were worthy of taken a photograph of. From a trail to a construction site. For myself, I love black and white at times. As well the one with concrete reminded me of the colombian lady as well as all the hostages that for six years spent time enclosed....But the tail was the last place I headed to and there is nothing like the lush of the greens, and colors that take place in the midst of the summer.
Nice picture Jack. I see a plan, a structure built with attention and patience, adjustments so that each rock would fit in the design, and I see teamwork, and beyond that, I see summer and all the beauty nature has to offer as this time of year.
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, the optical illusion gives the impression of falling down, however the way I see it, it is looking up. Well done.
ReplyDeleteyeah... his would also remind me of what IngridBetancourt must be looking upto for like years....
ReplyDeletevery poignant photo, jack
i like this angle of the bridge.. it's like saying this way to a different world...
ReplyDeletethis pix is cool..
ReplyDeletehow do you do that?
:D
it is called layering....
ReplyDeleteIt is from the very top of a building looking all the way down all 5 levels while it's under construction.

ReplyDeleteMakes me dizzy.
ReplyDeleteI like this one, curvy and smooth.
ReplyDeleteImagine laying down one a walk over much like a ladder that bridges one side to the other :)
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing that can surpass the greens that come during the summertime. There are a few of this one and how many people have walked across it? Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteOne picture coupled with technique and it becomes a very multifacted photograph...strangely I could stare at it for a while.
ReplyDeleteI love photography...right now it's my passion. I call them vantages, as to each person they see something different in a manner that only they view.
ReplyDeletePhotography is something truly awesome...to the photographer and the beholder. Isn't it amazing what each person can see....
ReplyDeleteG'day Jack,
ReplyDeleteIf I has to pick one this would be it....Strange you mention black & white, I took oil painting classes for 12 months & drove the artist teacher crazy because all I wanted to paint in was black & white
I'm sorry Jack, but the angle of the pictures just takes too much away from them
ReplyDeleteI love black and whites..... I had a art teacher in Syracuse that always would have the funniest manner of saying Titanium White. Oh how we had fun with him. But we were kids.
ReplyDeleteI have never got into doing them as it does take some time. But there was a picture in Drumhellar, back some 8 months ago that was much like this mind you it was a coal mine that was closed down in a small town. I would love to paint, but I love that manner of just seeing something while walking and then - you see something within it.
I certainly do believe so....
ReplyDeleteWell if you turn your monitor a little to the left lift it up a tad :)
