Setting down the Foundation

On this last Saturday of the month. I over watched the pouring of the concrete by the contractors which did this new home. The small company was a family operation that was passed on from the father to the son from Portugal.

  1. One must not be afraid to get their hands dirty. You are lucky, Portuguese people are usually good at construction. You are not tempted to put your feet in and leave your mark? I guess not. Wish it does not rain until it dries so you do not have to walk in the mud.

  2. When they did the drive way I was joking with his son about doing that and then when he told me how long it would take, I understood that it was time to camp in the house for the day!
It's neat how they will make it smooth and then thereafter they comb it. Es algo de una habilidad y el comercio.

Yo no teniendo cuenta el dia a esperar.

  4. This is an interesting point of where we are from and each country has immigrants. Your country is where? As I find that some countries that have less - sometimes have more. As they have something over and above our modern society - they have community whereby each person contributes and so forth.
There is no hose here and it looks like we are in for some off and on rain today. Or that is what I looks like. Thank you Aclim.
