Some find Multiply a tad to much glitter and have stayed the test of time with Y360.
There is no doubt they are different. I think that is great I find that at least getting back over there and writing definitely is a self write without getting to other peoples pages and reading. And right now I don't have much time. Not saying that you do, but I have been very busy. In several ways while living in hotels. But with regards to Y360 - It was never about being anything than authentic of course there was the click and delete and some posturing that goes along with any type of society. Within the writings you could come to realize who was genuine with what they were writing. I know there are some on here that don't know me at all. Aside of that I don't have the time to write as much as I did in a "bilateral blogging manner" which I read once from a friend on my Y360 blog.
I wanted to place down a few testimonials, if only I could place in the "send messages" as some would come out with some of the most tremendous writings by way sending a message on some subject matters that were a tad touchy. However within my manner I find that while embarking life. There is always something that turns on the light bulb - as I found the significance within the writes. I say this done and I as I never knew 99% on my blog I have left out the copy from my y360 that if one would click they could email them. Privacy is always respected.
These are a few of people that were from the United States, Australia, Iran, Iraq, and Guyana. Does it matter where we are from. No it doesn't. Not in any manner.
A few testimonials I was reading that came from no where. And within it all, I found some tremendous writers that wrote independently. And when I closed it up they certainly wrote for themselves in there own way. I took off the jpeg images and id names to ensure their privacy so it's just words from a variety of people.
Testimonials came to be something of a reference code of authenticity within the writings. I guess on this multiply it serves for a reference point as to the person behind the writings. Now I don't know 99% of them - but I have gained from them and from there vantages. It's like when you have read a book and there is something of substance and the person has their own ideologies, thoughts, way of writings that as time goes along you know that it's not fake, it's genuine - and not twisted.

Visiting Jack’s page is like sitting at your favorite café or coffee house with a group of people having a great discussion. Jack’s unique creativity with his blogs tends to pull me in leaving me to think and ponder well after I’m gone. He is bright and articulate and I'm blessed to call him friend.

Jack, a man I've come to know through his writes. My instinct tells me he's caring to most of his friends and a caring son as well. His blogs reveal his true and honest self; a man who loves diversity, has an earnest quest to learn more about other cultures. A man w/high regards on integrity and honesty!

I haven't known Jack long but from the first blog I read from him I recognized a human being. He's come to a point in his life where he recognizes the importance of experience of life while he is here and he shares that life with thoughtfulness and depth.

Sincere, honest and open with a genuine interest not in cultural 'differences' but cultural 'likenesses'. This is how I have come to know Jack. He is a man of integrity and good character. When he writes about his day you will feel as though you had been there with him.

I can honestly say without any doubt - they were genuine. And it was not about anything than the substance of what we all wrote. Of course there were the people
that wanted to have the largest blog on the face of the earth. But for me and still with time allowing it's more about the substance than the glitter.
Perhaps integrity...
Jack is just an ordinary man living his life as each one of is living within there own life. To each their own - but we all do have a manner that we gain. I am whom I am, but I am not anything but a person that has no apprehension in communicating his ideals.
ReplyDeleteI agree with those who find Multiply a tad too much glitter, as you say, that's why I keep Blogger and Wordpress, nothing too fancy there, practically no readers but much quieter. People are important, most of my friends from Yahoo are here and now I know we can keep in touch even if we decide to blog in very different sites. Y360 was something we got used to and it kept us away from other experiences. People and their words count , those testimonials are beautiful genuine expressions of friendship.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day.
Wonderful write Jack . I am not sure how I feel at this time , I have had mixed feeling about the site here for sure .I appreciate your friendship and admire you . I enjoy your writes and getting to know you a little better each time I read them . Have a wonderful Sunday My Friend ...Dancing
ReplyDeleteI'm still striving to draw readers to my blog and to receive their thoughts on the subject matter. I guess it will take time, in the meantime I have too many projects to dwell on one particular place other than my official blog and site. The main thing will be to find those who connect with our writing.
ReplyDeleteReading you Jack is always pleasant. You have lots of wisdom to share. I am glad to count you among authentic friends.
ReplyDeleteReading you Jack is always pleasant. You have lots of wisdom to share. I am glad to count you among authentic friends.
ReplyDeleteBut you know what?
ReplyDeleteI find that writing and doing are expressions like a painter with his canvas. If the painter gets to anxious on what he or she writes. I think Rembrandt or Picasso might have had some troubles in getting any painting done. So we all brush, we all walk and step back and look at our canvas (mean live our life) and when we come back and look at it. We just know...
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the site here, but I post in 360 also. It's my home. I don't know what they are going to do after the first of the year, but I want to be there when they do... I like my little "village" so to speek, my friends list... others in my list have thier little "villages" too. We had privacy amongst ourselves... I even had a Mayor..lol. As did a few others... I have two new friends over here, and lost one that came over, too glitzy, took me forever to get out of the site because of it... it would freeze up my puter, and have had to state in large capital letters not to post graphics anywhere on my site, gets me to crawl like a snail, I have to delete the comments. So now I have two sites to deal with...lol;-D! And here I was scared to death to go on line a couple of years ago... what time will do for ya huh :-D?
ReplyDeleteG'day Jack & friends,
ReplyDeleteChange is as good as a holiday, so the saying goes, (if it was a holiday destination I would have returned home.)
I find that with this change I balance on the brink of "will I or won't I even bother to continue", I am not so much a slow learner, It's that I don't seem to have the time to actually fiddle around with it, & at the moment the motivation is directed into different goals, All of us have lives that are busy, that is just stating the obvious, but for me at the moment self isn’t the main priority on my list, I will care-take both sites, until I get things sorted, and until my son works out how to fix my pc I am sunk anyway hahahahahgagh
I like the Multiply, now that I have stopped wigging out over the newness of it all. The smaller graphics seem not to cause the issues the large ones do. Have a terrific week, Jack!
ReplyDeleteWhether one wants it or not.....things do change...even if we all love blogging on yahoo 360, we can't continue doing so if the authorities concerned decide that it's time to close down...where do we go to connect with all our online friends?? go with the flow...go with the current...and eventually, we will all get used to something new as time goes on as we fiddle with the buttons here at multiply.....of course, we don't expect each and everyone to blog daily as we all have things to accomplish in our lives......
ReplyDeletePeace to you, Jack.......
I would think that basically your intention is to indicate that I should not blog everyday.
ReplyDeletePlease note that I enjoy this as right now I am waiting for a few decisions as I went on a holiday and thereafter am embarking on something.
Do I enjoy this - yes. Is it my perogative - yes.
