Well this is the first time I have had to actually post anything. I find that the transition to this new blogging site is indeed something of a change. But then again change is good. I have never seen so much frustration with people that were used to one platform of blogging. But sometimes that is the way it goes.
I have yet to understand how to configure this without getting all post to my email. So I am working on that and with a coffee at hand. It's a little bit of worke - but we can do. This.
What I have found is there is an array of people on here that are from many different blogs. And for myself, I think in many ways this could be a good thing.
So I am back to trying to configure this so that it's all in place and hopefully it shall workout.
Why Not,
Jack
Well I for one love it. I find this medium is much like 360 compared to all of the other choices out there. I hope you stay here because I plan on it.
ReplyDeleteI am but I did all this prior to my plans on leaving after this weekend for a one to two month trip.

ReplyDeleteGood to finally have you writing on here, Jack. I for one is a bit disoriented and I am trying to figure out still how to make this work for me effectively. But I guess, with the tools provided for easy transfer of blog content and contacts from 360 to this site, I guess, I am going to stick to this site for now. Until, of course, another site with the same feature comes in...whatever that sight might be.
ReplyDeleteyes me too very slowly....Jean you have great music on the front of your page - how do you do that?
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Jack....just like you and all the other newbies here on Multiply, I am still groping around and trying to check how to configure things here. Have a good day..
ReplyDeleteYou too Leticia and I am finally all done with preparation!!!! Thank God.
ReplyDeleteG'day Jack & friends,
ReplyDeleteThis is like going on an Easter egg hunt, behind every new button is a wonderful surprise, I for one love surprises so am going to enjoy this transition period, all keep smiling, like any adventure it is there to be had, We Can Do This lol
I think all of us 360 'refugees' are still finding our way around. If you don't want postings going to your email just go to your 'settings' and under 'My Email Alerts' you can set it so you don't get them. .
ReplyDeleteI think we will all like it here more once we get used to it. Glad you're here :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I figured out how to visit your blog. Assuming this goes through, as it should, I now know how to comment on here, lol. This is definitely different than what I have grown used to. I am sorta glad you pointed out how this change could be a good thing. I need the reminder, lol.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed , it is a change. So far for me a welcome one ...Have a wonderful day Jack !
ReplyDeleteWished to say hi as this is the first that I accessed this and not on here much at all however a hello to ya all....
ReplyDeleteI think we are. I called and then I talked to professional within computers. And he indicated to me that the Y360 team, was never a part of the Yahoo company. It was a group of people with a mixture of ideas and with some computing professionals - working along with various others with a mixture of areas that leaded to approach Yahoo with making a deal.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem is that someone never understood that Yahoo would not bring them into the company or utilize them as a subsiduary. Hence, someone never planned for the marketing end with companies. The result was that there was a team of people with a great plan and were afforded placement with Yahoo, but Yahoo never honour anything. Which I think will take the Yahoo corporation back to where it was as a messenger chatting platform, with groups. The groups of yahoo were developed within the company of Yahoo.
As of yesterdays date I finally am 75% there in setting this up much like how I had set up my own blog, and as well as three groups that I configured. All in all I am doing a "catch up". As I almost have everything done here, in a manner that it's a flow of writings, and as well with privacy by way of my own choice with whom I wish to blog with.
i too am still finding my way around here. i am uncomfortable with how this works as i was so used to 360 and i am the type who is reluctant with change (i know it is funny coming from someone who left her life of 30 years to move to another country!). but i guess, it just takes time...
ReplyDeleteTanya nothing in life stays completely the same we adapt. Slow and steady wins the race.
