The weather was warm – probably the warmest it’s been thus far. I went the trail that I had started when I arrived here. The last was when there was still snow. Watching the this evolvement of a natural morning was that of enjoyment, contentment – just within the moment where time has no meaning more so are the scenery as it grooms into spring.

A Fine Day Was
As the temperatures are much warmer now, I decided to just do a small video of where the change of temperatures and capture a video narrative as during the colder months of past my batteries would go on me.
I decided to just head down near this sky trail and capture a few vantages as spring has just commenced and one could hear birds and geese singing their declaration that spring is here.

It's Green and Blue
With the intention to meet up with the communications department which assisted me within one of my writes on what I called the "Paper Plane Room". I was within the research center for a good portion of the morning and thereafter I went down to the riverside. While there I could see that, the riverboats were all preparing for this coming weekend and I thought I would go and make a visit. As this time of the year
is where things all really start to surface here as far as weather wise.
It was most interesting, one of the local stations had the same thing in mind. As just before I was leaving they arrived. Ironically, as it is, I gave a few pointers on how they would wish to capture these boats and then thereafter I left on my way. I don't think there is any going back now as we are within that zone where green has literally become. With temperatures well into the 70’s, this is the time where many things are rendered.
Therefore, it's a variety as I always place it on here on Multiply and the captures all but two were taken on today's date. I would never have thought that the weekend would come so quickly but it has.

Renders Previous to Easter
Within today I spent most of my time at the university. I went to this research area which has all these areas where they are growing things I think it's called bio something as it's apart of the agriculture sector. I was merely taking up some time as I had planned on a tour of this expansion of this expansion that was going on with the new Department of Nursing. So I took a few pictures and then by the time that I was finished I arrived home finally as of today's date not only are there green things being grown within this area of horticulture but there is the beginning of GREEN.
The trees - some, are just starting to make that change and upon arriving home I there was grass which has a little green to it so all things considered it was a find day.
I may have have done this planned tour as it turned out but all in all, it was a nice day and much warmer. So spring showers coupled with the past cooler
temperatures have given way to the commencements of Spring.
Spring
A sense of warmth is tapping at the door
And hope, a feeling out from distant lore
Or so it seems – clears the deep refrain
Emerging youth: a dormant lea awakes
The raging colour, singing loud, partakes
In annual birth – spring is born again!
A zest anew for nascent life
Begins in floral train:
Carriage one: a snowdrop thrill
Carriage two: the crocus
Number three, a daffodil dancing,
Drawing focus – as she would
Attention seeking
How I love our spring
The bold and sleeker feel I get
An inner glow, a ring
I’ve paid the winter’s chilly debt, so
Now upon the wing

For myself, I am an optimist
“For myself, I am an optimist it does not seem much use being anything else” - Winston Churchill
It's coming to the end of May and this last winter was one that was not taken with all that much pleasure. It not only was cold it was challenging.
This city is growing on me. I live for summer, never take this time of year for granted, as it's a precious time. The equator could be a tad closer. After a busy day, I decided to go out to a place where this restaurant is nearby. I met the owner two weeks ago and I was wished to take in the atmosphere and have a coffee and if I could and the place was not too busy I was going to take a few picture of this fine place which is called.... oops I forget. But I will get there. I don't know why but it was closed. So of I went to this area that every loves in this part of the city. I think it's a break away from all the things that take place with work and all that goes along with living in a large city.
I truly love am starting to really love this place, and the people that reside within my area of the suburbs. I met someone from Latin America that is from Cuba. She has family in Florida and she could see that I was confused as far as directions - she probably could see that I was new to Edmonton and she offered directions. There after I made a change of address from where I lived and I met again a person from
India. She had moved to here four years ago. While changing address and sending off a fax, she asked where I was from. It's always hard to explain as I greeted her with Namaste. Then after explaining she I gave wrote down for her this address, as she was interested as was the one from Latin America.
Mat was out with his dog when I arrived at the riverside. He was more than happy to allow me to take a picture of his dog after we had some small talk. And that dog would not do what we wanted to do so I decided thereafter to do a video as the picture was not going to happen after we tried a few times. His dog was interested in one thing.
Soon now May will be coming to and end, and June will come in it's that time where the activities that one can do are so much easier in comparison to winter. Give me summer for 8 months of the year and I will take the coldest winter for the remaining four.
Month of May
The month of May is nearing and end but within the vantages of time and space we find something of a beginning that brings the month of June. Hence, summer is nearing its arrival.

~ Sping is Here ~
Spring is here, and that is what it looks just down the street where I so often pick up fast food.
In a different manner to each and every one of us, however in some manner we all do share something with the change of seasons regardless of where we reside. I know there are people from all corners of the world that write on here. Several of the words that came to mind where. Hold on let me see if I can open up this old post and see what they were...
I found it and can do it! So here they are:
~ A new beginning and bright sunshine by Toni, ~ Refreshing by Norma, ~ Warm weather without as much rain, by Rev Scott, ~Intense colours, aromes, movements everywhere, feeling the sun on my skin, recharging with good vibes on the top of a pyramid. from Mati, ~ Renewal from Jo, Growth from Dee, Rejuvenation from Danielle, ~ A chance for change from Lorna, and ~ A cool morning breeze while in the sun. And then bouncy! Well let spring bounce right in! I think they say how we feel with the change of climate.
Probably more so for those that live in areas that climates have a more varying change. Regardless I find that the length of time is something which is grand, it all depends I suppose on where you live but the days are getting longer.
What is so interesting is that we all come from different places and have different views as we don't all share the same climate however we do share something with the change of season. In Australia they are going into what they call their fall during a period of one of the harshest hot spells that have taken place in years. In Mexico, they are coming into what is the windy and storm stricken time, and then in California they have more of a climate that is like Mexico where if I am right this is the time where it's kind of a costal climate. Montreal is a climate that is what is called a continental climate, which means you have a different system going through all the time, much like several areas such as Chicago, Detroit. And then here in Alberta we have what is called a prairie climate with a touch of Chinooks that come from the Rocky Mountains. Similar to Montana to some extent.
The one thing that I will never state is the "S" word at this time and I am referring to that white stuff that we are tired of - not all of us as some have never seen the "S".
But welcome people as spring has Sprung. Now the Grass just has to rise!
