I remember when this all happened with Y360 - that is the closing up of a blog. Everyone went within there own directions and all that I know. That there shall be a need of trust. We all have friends which we have enjoyed writing along with.
The interaction of people within writes have always been enjoyable. There are many things to consider. I would guess this may take a little trust.
I know this is brief but for myself I have always blogged on here and I am not much into having several blogs as I don't. So within good time I shall send friends a message you but I don't keep other things running on here and I think this shall take a little timing but I am not going to rush into another blog.
I think that is the best manner I can write it. Frankly I don't know how one shall go about this.....yet it can be done.
You need to make sure you have all your pictures backed up. I was using Multiply as my off site storage and when I lost my hard drive I was glad I had my pictures backed up. Now I will have to copy them and put them somewhere else as off site
ReplyDeleteI know Sharon...
ReplyDeleteam trusting ...
ReplyDeleteI know I am just digesting this...
ReplyDeleteeveryone seems to be scrambling Jack........plenty of time to research our options.
ReplyDeletemany friendships..blossomed .:)
ReplyDeleteThis is what I feel Pam...yet I have that feeling most all are within a rush only due to having that secondary
ReplyDeleteback up...yet friends are exactly what they say they are ........FRIENDS.
I agree with pamela. There is time and many good people are searching for alternate sites.
ReplyDeleteTrue Caroline but this is where the tribalness can take a backseat - just maybe.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be another adaptation from what we are used to.
ReplyDeleteDon't Panic!
ReplyDeleteNot Kim, yet it does take out the creativity.
ReplyDeleteI have been online checking other sites and there are NONE as user friendly as this one. This makes me so sad to lose my friends again...like withe 360...but at least most of us found each other here because I think when 360 was closing up...they did mention this place and one other one that closed up too so we all ended here...but now there is no other place such as this. If anyone finds one please let the rest of us know!!!!
ReplyDeletemarty---everyone is searching. There is still hope.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the contact on Google+
ReplyDeleteIt does I fully understand that there shall be one's going within different areas and let's hope Marty.
ReplyDelete(I truly mean that as I have not been on here much) but I am certainly no enigma. I think everyone
is trying to digest how to do this. Yet it's not all within here and what is discerning is that many
shall go within different trail. Being realistic on this one.
Yet everyone formed groups as well Rich along with what is facebook.
ReplyDeleteThere are over a million blogs out there nothing like this it might be one
of the last of it's kind.
Your welcome but Google + takes up too much java script on this laptop
ReplyDeleteGrammy.
Yet time shall prevail.....along with some hope. :)
I do as well there was a friend on a friends page by the name of Dixie which placed it so well pertaining to how
ReplyDeletethis was done. We do have plenty of time yet it's discerning Dee.
I feel the same. When 360 closed I lost so many posts. I had well over 600 entries on my page and the uploader only let you transfer 250! I lost the rest, plus all the comments, photos, testimonials, etc.... It was so sad.
ReplyDeleteI know I don't think today too many people were smiling on this one Dee.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rich...wouldnt it be nice if someone on here would start a new site up? I wonder how hard that is to do and if it takes a lot of bucks to do it? Just a thought...lol
ReplyDeleteI've always maintained multiple sites, so this isn't anything new or worrisome to me. This was my favorite site, but since they removed music upload ability, I've lost interest. I had a paid Multiply site, but they never gave musicians the ability to sell their original music, so I was just wasting my money anyway.
ReplyDeleteI wish you well wherever you go. I have very little here at Multiply. It is the friends that I will miss the most as I did when Yahoo 360 shut down. i mirgrated here from 360 and found some old and new friends. To me it is the hardest of all. I wish all of you the best wherever ou paths lead you.Stay safe and who knows...our paths shall or will cross again.
ReplyDeletepeace to all of you. :)))
We still have time, and can stick together. There are many different sites out there. Just have to find the best one to fill our needs.
ReplyDeleteI know Parrie.......as well I know this shall be a delecate manner.
ReplyDeleteTheresa do you think that groups will be able. From what I find is that groups right now probably have all staff working as hard as can be. I have made a mention yesterday within two I trust. This shall be a one which either indicates true friends and trust apposed to whom is not.
ReplyDeleteThis is where the virtual ones need to come out of the closest. I merely need to do a back up first yet all the writes which I have done - leave - they all are predominantly within my flick.
Right now at this very moment one should consider whom has been a good friend. Again here too comes trues. Within these times and this shall be something to write about as to how everyone - there is one mandate within all of this...........render those of which you wish have .........I did this years ago within a group of 2,000 people but that was then and this is now.
.....I will place out and id request.
I don't Cal, I am on a Premium Stream.....yet I never desired to make money off a blog nor ever shall.
ReplyDeleteJack, I was wondering after reading the Multiply's announcement, how much will be lost! music albuns, blog entries, articles, somehow an world of feelings will be lost forever when Multiply ends, at last. It's sad, indeed.
ReplyDeleteYo Se....
