What I found over this time which has now ended in celebration with the Queen is that it was something good. In the times which we live there are so many things which are rather tense. Yet what I have seen from this 60 year dedication to the Queen is that it was enjoyable to be able to watch. Not that often have we seen international events which are enjoyable. This was one of them. There are several areas I could place within here yet I don’t think it’s necessary as this jubilee was one decent celebration.
Sometimes events as such are just as pleasant as that. This is where the internet almost takes you right there. I thought I would place Paul McCartney ‘s performance during the last evenings concert in London.

ReplyDeleteyes it was wonderful..thanks ..jack!
ReplyDeleteIt was a pulling together of so many in a joyous celebration... we all do need that from time to time... Monday we were packing in boxes stuff from the family home we are getting ready to sell... My sister in law and I found a little tea cup and saucer from Queen Elizabeth's coronation. My great great aunt gave it to Mom when she came here to visit way back in the 60s. My grandmother had come from the UK, my grandfather an Irish orphan that went into the British navy at 13. Needless to say as I was watching the celebration I was crying like a baby..oh well... good tears.
ReplyDeleteLiterally it was fun as well as well as something --- good Caroline.
ReplyDeleteYet tears of joy Alice. There are many not all which have some connection to England and I see her everyday
ReplyDeleteon coins and dollars she has been with many yet she is a women of merit which not that often has anyone ever
interviewed Queen Elizabeth. This was fun last night and enjoyable especially McCartney's performance which
came last.
Its amazing that a woman of her age is able to physically keep up her schedule and for that alone she should be commended... I totally loved Paul McCartney's performance... and again at 70 he does so well.
ReplyDeleteTrue gives meaning to age is just a number and how you handle life rich or poor. Moreso within the "hows and dos".
