Within A Day in May
The undertones of life
Within a country path
Of mossy ground found
Within late spring
The brilliance of the day
Embosomed a calm vision
Abstract takes of nature
In shades speckled branches
Ever changing in brownish green hues
The vibrancy of sunlight
Up glittering sprites upon the leaves
Outside the green comfort zone
Other worlds of other sounds of other life
Otherwise gave a hint of what begins
Nature’s warm narration
Within the undertones of nature
And the vibrancy of what shall unfold
Within a narrative of the hints of nature
As it begins
