  4. Hi Sharon, I was out biking this morning and then it just started to pour. And this town had it's first garage sales most closed down at around 2pm. I am dry and waiting for the sun! :)

  8. Send some of it this way! We haven't had any precipitation in months. It is so dry here that dust has settled on the greenery, giving it an olive drab appearance. Last year's blizzard, followed by months of drought, caused so many fires, that many resources were lost due to overuse. The year has started that way, again. So we will be happy to releive you of some of your rain. Not a lot, mind you, this is still a desert and we'd like it to stay that way. But even deserts need a certain amount of rain to sustain plant and animal life.

  9. Just stepped out and back in if you want it you can have it Becky. It is what it is.
I can't say I would know what that is like there but one thing is for sure is
that you can't predict the weather.

  10. That's for sure! But their are plenty of overpaid people trying to convence us that they can, eg., Meteorologist, and others who try to study weather patterns in order to predict when things like Hurricane Katrina and the many tsunamis in Indonesia, are going to occur. Oddly enough, few saw the last few tsunamis coming! When that happens, in order to save face, they call it a rogue storm. Amazing, Gracie!

  14. I'm certain that was meant for us and it just got lost along the way. Next time, just point south and say, "Go!!" May today bring you sunshine.

  15. We're getting a lot of rain, too, just when the goat yard dries out some, it rains and becomes a mud pit again. Phooey. Not to mention the dreary, cloudy skies. Just have to learn to work with it, and keep in mind that there's a beautiful blue sky up there behind the clouds :)
