One Day Leads into Another

Finally the weather has changed, mind you the all the foot trails and areas which I hike are still snowed in but as the weather has come back to good temperatures I am sure that they shall melt by the weekend.  I decided to head to the Wal-Mart of this town – just kidding – and I was looking for some new jeans and a few “things”.  I looked over what is called the Bargain store as it’s called and as I am heading into Saskatoon on Monday – I would much rather wait and get those things that I need.  There is something to be said for dressing light but during this transition from the last winter and then into spring I must admit that there is something to be said about pants and socks. I looked over what this 2,500 square foot had to offer – I was told that it started off initially as a bargain store of left over clothes which other retailers don’t buy for there shops within the city.  Most all people here head into the city to do there shopping and I can see why.

Afterwards I went to meet up with Lyall whom was taking in the curling brier which is taking place in Saskatoon.  Then I left off and arrived home here if this is what you call it.  Right after lunch I received a call from the Health Unit here – which is a rather small hospital with a modest size which mostly is a holding place for the elderly and then does have an emergency unit which is apart of what is called the Saskatchewan Health Region.  Last week, this Eileen made a few calls within the health district and go figure I will be meeting with the one health official as I will take apart of my afternoons to talk with the elderly.  I spoke this Leah which then said that it would be great to have me on board and that she knows exactly what I am doing medically and looks forward to meeting me on Wednesday to see which area I would like to partake in. Apart of the criteria is that you have a criminal record check.  I there after called the RCMP detachment and indicated that I have a federal security clearance from two years ago – and that was all well but as I am within a different province from which I obtained my last.  I decided that I will go in and fill in the forms as there is a two day turnaround period.  That just fits right as Monday I have a doctors appointment and then when I arrive back on by Tuesday all shall be in place.  Yes, I remember when I was shopping at the grocery story and I decided to open up a box of animal crackers one year ago and the manager of the grocery store choose to press charges – hopefully that wont surface.  ~ Kidding ~

I am glad that now I will be able to incorporate my training and then head over to the hospital which shall take up a portion of the day.  Seemingly one thing is leading into another.  There is a healing potential within all of this.  The very fact that things are coming together within this small town does reinforce what I have set out and am doing.

On my blog I still wish to carry one with one more write of the Titanic, as I love history and the one which is on here by all means if anyone wishes to collaborate by all means feel free to contribute.  The intention was that in which collaboration was.

After this last weeks storm a few things have come out of it not as fast as one wishes but when things happen they do give way to a great surprise.
