A Scribble

Well here we are at April, I forgot completely that it was April fools days so I guess I am the fool. Yet when I logged on I got a hoot out of some of the April fools jokes especially a few. Mind you if you respond to it your the fool. Now I guess I was as I had responded here much later on a few blogs. And then again I have not been on much but foolish I am. Apparently Osama Bin Ladin has been found, Hillary Clinton is resigning my gosh even Prime Minister Harper in Canada over this is leaving office. Yes all in the name of April fools. I even heard that well we wont go there.

Meanwhile we have a long weekend here and it's the beginning of April - who could ask for more? But then again I was thinking of something but that is for another time.  Meanwhile there are many friends that do celebrated Easter. Easter is that special time that is celebrated by many christians, and I do wish to wish everyone the best during this time. As well, there are many other people that I am connected with that celebrate other religions and I wish you all a very great weekend. As it's all good. April 1, you know I look at this number and can't believe that it's already that time.

"Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies." Mother Teresa

  8. I do agree with the quote, its something that most of us dont pay attention to and then wonder, "where did I go wrong?" Of course, we went wrong in those moments we did/said/thought without much dedication.

Wishing you a Blessed Easter Jack and a wonderful weekend too. :)

  11. Ironically I got back to this just before heading to bed. The other night I caught a portion of this show and I was captivated by it. I have never been a large Celine fan to be honest, but within what I watched was truly something in the manner that by way of music she has impacted the world. There is a new song that she is coming out I which is soon to be released it was wrote in collaboration with a Rueban Morgan. And I just got back in here and thought I would place this one and I hope that the utube isn't to large as for some reason utube has change in how you can link with it but ironically this was captivating to say the least. As during these times I do think that music is something that does literally have much to do within life. I hope the these are not too large but thought it was worth the post.

  19. Regarding Celine Dion and the Canadian Tenors: Shirley and I saw this yesterday on Oprah. Wow, what a moment! This song is truly a great work---one of Leonard Cohen's best. Thanks for sharing this Jack.

  20. Ditto here Doug. I saw it literally the other night it was something I watched within the evening. Leonard did such a variety of songs but this was one of his best I feel as well. I posted it as I was taken by the show and I don't watch Oprah that often but I think as she slowly closes down her show she is doing some very interesting ones. This was sensational. I never knew of these Canadian Tenors yet the song does resonate as ironically Celine does, I was really taken by what all she had to say as well how much of an impression she made, to lister to her talk I literally could relate with what she was saying and apparently so many others around the world could, I have always believed that music does make the world go around, and she was actually saying things that I could relate to so well coupled with being astonished with how many people from different countries knew of her, it's almost as if her music was within a universal language.
