Well it's cold and it's going to be cold here for the next week. I so bare with me as I literally freeze down here that is the unfinished portion of the house. Only if you have lived in a climate that is cooler do you really understand it. And I would like to write something but please bare with me - I will be on here - I just have to get the heater going on in advance. 
For now I the best of wishes for the forthcoming week and the change of seasons pending where your from.

ReplyDeleteAs you sit in front of the heater welcoming your Autumn in I am sitting here in front of the fire trying to convince myself that even though spring is here, I shouldn't be upset that the temp has plummeted down to 12 degs & the rain & wind storm raging out doors is not going to phase me in the least. lol have a good evening my friend
Yeap! It is here! Seasons change and life keeps on going. We are lucky we are having a sunny start to it. Basements can be damp cold, specially before we start heating the house brrrr. A good week to you anyways.
ReplyDeleteIt gets pretty cool at night here now, too but we haven't turned the furnace on yet because we need the A/C during the day. It got quite hot yesterday afternoon and we had a wild thunder, lightning, rain and hail storm last night. The trees are colouring up really nice this fall. I guess it is officially fall today. Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteHead down to Florida, our night time temps are in the mid 70s. We are ready for a break. I remember the bone deep chill of the north, don't miss it at all.
ReplyDeleteahhh... a fellow Canadian! I hear you when you talk of the cold weather! brrr.... I can't believe that just last week we had a beautiful humid day then just like that *snaps fingers* it got real cold! Hang in there, we still have WINTER to get through!
ReplyDeleteCan't hang with that anymore. Did 7 years in upstate NY and it was like a sentence. Now, anything under 70, air or water, is cold!

ReplyDeleteWhen our seasons change from warm to cold, if you've noticed, we get to look at the lovely and colourful trees, showing us all their warm and glorious colours. I think that this great show of colours is just a ploy to fool us into thinking that it is still warm outside. So, let's not fall into this trap. We better be prepared, Fall is here now and already it's cold, but, you know what? It's going to get even colder because Winter is next.
