Time Is Precious

Well the days are going well. Today I finally was able to get home earlier that yesterday so I decided I would write something and as well the picture above is from the building that I work out of.

The hours that I have been putting in with my work are very gratifying - yet it's real work, with real effort as there is no allowance for failure.

Ironically how I write about these things and yet I am working within an area where you have to be right on the mark with everything that you do. And I am not making this up, nor will I mention what it is that I am doing as it's a breach, but all that said, I think that we hang up our jobs and bring about the inner spirit of whom we are in a certain manner when we write.

As it was a juant to McDonalds on the way home and then into the shower and then talking with my best friend & room mate and I wanted to write on something, however considering the time and the manner in which I am squinting as I write I may leave it to another day.  Seems rather serious but it's very enjoyable and the only thing is the affordability of time to do other things - which will come in time.

That all said I have allowances for three areas to do some photography that I hope I can do as I love doing it and really have not had the time to do it in two months. So we will see what comes about.

There are so many things that I wished to be involved in on my spare time - yet I do love writing/blogging. It's usually my night cap at the end of the day in some manner & way.

Peace, Jack

  1. so true..
i just replied in one of my contact's blog about this..
not only does writing brings about the inner spirit as you say, it also heals...
when i write ..it seems i enter another world..a world of mine alone..i hear voices...i see scenes..i feel hurt, happy, confused, tired....etc..
i even feel lonely amid a crowd sometimes..i mostly feel this when i am at sea..

    thanks for sharing..

  2. Sounds like all is going well for you there Jack apart from needing some more of that precious time. I've been killing some time this week, so to speak. If only we could give our spare time to those who could use some extra... I'll trade you some time for a big Mac...no pickles thanks...Today will be your Friday so the weekend is here again.Hope you get to spend some time taking photos and just doing whatever you wish.
I've just noticed how much I've used time in this reply.
    I mean the word "Time"

  3. *smiling* I can identify with this blog, Jack ... I have many areas of interest that I wish I could invest more of myself in, too, but the hours are so full and pass so quickly ... I think the main thing here that I'm seeing is that you do what you have to do and when the opportunity arises to invest in something you are passionate about, you put everything you have into enjoying it, savoring the flavor of each moment ... celebrate the day, my friend ... and when the night falls, relax and smile ... you didn't endure life- you enjoyed it! Isn't it grand! :) Hugs and blessings to you, my friend.

  4. Grin! Hi Jack. I like your picture of a familiar site, yet different place. Days only have 24 hrs, and often times we try to fit in so many activities in a single one. We are eager I guess until comes the day when we understand that balance is about making choices and setting priorities. Postponing is not always procrastination, it is also called planning. It is nice to read that you enjoy your new job. Spring will soon be here, it will be faster to go from one place to another, consequently more free time for leisure activities, discover your new City, and blogging about it. I have to say like you, writing is certainly better than gin for a `night cap at the end of the day`! Wonderful Friday to you!

  5. G'day Jack,
By now your work week should be just about over, Two whole days of "Jack" time, to do your own thing, this is the balance we all need

  6. Looking forward to seeing more pictures. As far as a nightcap goes, blogging sure beats the socks off the more traditional version. Much easier on the liver too, heehee. I usually have issues with time. Some days there seems to be too much of it and others, there just isn't enough. I won't make any comment on Mickie Dee's here since I may add that to a grouch and growl blog I am thinking about doing, IF I get the time. (grin)

  9. Just arrived home and yeah Wendy you just put on layers of clothing and most people just tend to stick in on days like this or they are "destination shoppers" or "destination travellers" or even some are "destination photographers". Wishing to find that one angled shot.

  10. Forty below?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yikes! Now don't I just feel silly for whining about the cold weather that's returning to our area? Heehee. At least our temps are supposed to stay on the plus side.

  11. Brrrr! I thought you had warmer climate in the West part of Canada, it seems not. We have snow here, but we have not had bitter cold days like this yet this Winter. Well, Canada being what it is, we are used to that, and as you say so well, just add a couple onion peels, and get going. Otherwise, we would all be confined to our homes lol! Spring is coming, hold on!
